Caliente is a great place to host a party! Our chef is delighted to create special menus to suit your needs. Family-style service or themed food stations work well with Caliente's cuisine and create a very unique and social special event. For larger events (50+) or for groups interested in outdoor dining, consider buying out the entire restaurant! A buy-out includes use of our most coveted amenity, the rooftop deck and Palapa Bar (weather permitting). Both the deck and our first floor dining room can comfortably seat up to 90 guests- or more if the bar is included, offering great flexibility for either outdoor or indoor dining. With the exception of summer weekends and certain holidays, the restaurant does not open until 4 pm, making private luncheons a very feasible alternative to an evening closure. (Buy-out minimums are established based on sales history specific to the date and time of day requested.) For smaller events Caliente is able to accommodate first seating, non-private dinner parties in a portion of the downstairs dining room. In the summer season the deck is in great demand. It can be reserved, along with the entire restaurant for private parties, but is otherwise seated on a first-come basis when the restaurant is open to the public.
