About Melrose Abbey
Founded in 1922, Melrose Abbey, formally known as "First Swedish Churchâ was built by Swedish immigrants as a place of worship. The building, with its beautiful architecture, has a rich history in the city with hundreds of wedding ceremonies conducted in it. The church has deteriorated over the decades. In 2022, exactly at the 100th birthday, renovations were started with the goal to restore it to its original beauty while offering luxury space with quality lodging.
