The University Floor includes the main Ballrooms and Pub off the Grand Foyer making the Foyer an ideal add-on or even as a standalone reception, meeting, dancing venue. The space features a 1920’s-era, Steinway grand piano original to the Kansas City Club, bright marble floors, floor-to-ceiling windows and four new dazzling chandeliers.
This scenic area is perfect for award presentations, cake cuttings and other ceremonies as well as a cocktail hour. You can then usher your guests into a ballroom for dinner, dancing and more.

The Crystal Ballroom is ideal for small, intimate luncheons and dinners, meetings or weddings. We punched through a hidden fireplace to re-open this beautiful ballroom for direct access from the Foyer. It now features two new large crystal chandeliers, original wood décor, Brazilian walnut flooring perfect for dancing and the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Baltimore Avenue for which Kansas City Club is known.

The University Pub is a standalone bar and is the definition of class. We combined three rooms with the original pub to provide a larger, cool and funky venue replete with new A/V tech and historical touches saved from the renovation. The original wood paneling, wood bar and now lofty ceiling combine beautifully with the recently added modern seating and custom lighting.
Cheers!
