It all began in 1999 with the vision of a French chateau sitting upon a hilltop beside a beautiful fountain. And now that the Chateau Avalon has brought that to life, what completes the dream? An orangery. The A-Vent Orangery truly is one of a kind, as the very first orangery in the Midwest.

A-Vent Orangery is Kansas City's newest covered outdoor event space. Located at the Chateau Avalon Hotel and spa, this is the first European conservatory in the Midwest. The beautiful steel structure is nestled in our wooded acreage next to the city's largest fountain: the Beaumont Fountain. A-Vent Orangery offers the best of both indoor and outdoor space for up to 225 of your guests. To host an open-air event, remove the glass panes and the mid-west breeze blows through.
