Our Gatherings space was built prior to the Civil War according to a local amateur historian who has studied how construction techniques have evolved. In 2017, we began a sizable renovation on the structure so it could house events instead of horses. Now the barn is 6,250 square feet with: 4,200 square feet of the area open in one room. In addition, there is a 1,000 square foot loft where we used to store hay. The ceiling vaulting to 26 feet high.A prominent natural stone fireplace with a walnut mantel harvested from Tammy’s family farm. Walls of whitewashed nickel gap pine boards. Former horse stalls now housing a catering kitchen. A stage large enough for the entire wedding party. Natural light from large windows with pastoral views. A 3,300 square foot timber frame addition which was built in 2015. This space offers an open-air and shaded option with the picturesque lake as your ceremony background. It adjoins the Gatherings space. Along with up to 250 of your guests, you can enjoy the feeling of an outdoor event with the security of a roof and fans. Gatherings houses air conditioned and/or heated restrooms, as well as bride and groom dressing rooms.
