Rental Terms
“Company” is Jglow Venue, “Premises” includes the studio/space being rented, “Renter” is the person or entity renting Premises or equipment.
Rental rates are determined by the booking coordinator and may differ from pricing found online or any other place.
In order to confirm and hold a reservation a non-refundable 50% retainer must be paid at the time of booking and a signed contract. The remaining 50% is due 2 weeks before the reservation date. Rental will not be allowed to commence without payment in full.
The 50% deposit goes towards your rental and is NON-REFUNDABLE, NO EXCEPTIONS.
The Company will charge a 3% processing fee to account for any credit card processing fees.
Additional hours can be added to the reservation for a fee of $150 per hour.
The Security Deposit of $300 is a separate transaction (provided 7 days prior to your event date) that covers damage, missing items, additional/professional cleaning, and indoor smoking fee.
This security deposit will be held until the space is inspected at the conclusion of the event.. If no damage is incurred, the full security deposit will be returned in the amount of $300. The deposit will be returned up to 7 business days following your event.
Jglow Venue is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is not permitted inside the venue. Indoor smoking, Hookah usage, and any other smoke products is an automatic loss of the full $300 security deposit.
A Security Officer will be required for events where alcoholic beverages will be served. JGlow Venue will provide 4 hours of security for all events that begin after 6pm. Any additional Security services is $60 an hour.
JGLOW Venue reserves the right to require a client to purchase Alcohol Use Insurance prior to their event date.
You may provide alcohol on our premises. However, the renter is held responsible for the legal consumption of alcohol during the event. Jglow Venue provides that must be secured before being granted access to the space. Security fees are due 30 days prior to your event.
Jglow Venue is required to enforce liquor laws as regulated by the state of Texas. All alcohol beverage must be served by a licensed bartender that is TABC Certified.
No alcoholic beverages will be served to anyone under the age of 21.
Renter may not serve alcohol to minors on Jglow Venue’s premises at any time. In addition, Renter must, for everyone’s safety, ensure that alcoholic beverages are consumed in a responsible manner. Jglow reserves the right, in its exclusive discretion, to expel anyone from the premises who, in its judgment, is intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or who otherwise engages in behavior that jeopardizes the rights of Jglow Venue or the safety of its patrons, staff, guests, employees or property.
No Alcohol is permitted to be taken off the premises.
JGlow Venue employs a strict cancellation policy. All retainers/deposits paid to secure the date in the calendar are non-refundable. Any cancellation made within 14 days of the event rental date will still be required to pay in full.
In the event of a refund, a 3% processing fee will apply to account for any credit card processing fees.
Company is not required to issue a refund or a discount for Acts of God or for issues that are beyond the Company’s control. Acts of God/Issues may include but are not limited to the following: flooding, raining, any bad weather of any sort, electrical outage, equipment malfunction, HVAC unit stops working, plumbing, room leaks or water leaks, internet outage, etc.
Renter agrees to leave the Premises and all contents and fixtures in the same condition as they were when Renter arrived. The company will dispose of trash collected in the supplied trash cans. Renter must discard larger items, such as props, set pieces, furniture, etc. Disposal of large amounts of garbage due to large sets may also accrue additional costs.
