We actually only looked at one DJ during our search for wedding venues. My wife and I had attended another event where Entertainment Express was the hired DJ and could not have been more impressed. The DJ’s equipment, lights and decorations were conservative and tasteful, and he was extremely professional. We decided Entertainment Express would be our DJ. After we contacted them, they told us a DJ was entertaining a wedding that night nearby, and if we liked, we could stop by and take a look. We did. Again, extremely professional and very entertaining. We met with them, and they were friendly and pleasant. The prices quoted very fair, and they gave me a list of songs I could request. I was excited because I told my wife I wanted control of only two things at our wedding…the tuxedos and the music. I had a great time picking the music. Our event came and again, very professional. Punctual, on time, great decorations, and everything went perfectly. When it came to the groomsmen events, speeches, and eventually dancing, transitions were perfect. As promised, the DJ stuck with my music list, but one thing a person needs to realize, even if they are a musician, is that no one knows what music works better at a wedding then a DJ. After an hour of dancing, he smartly decided to creep in his own music, and that is when people really got up to start dancing. Best of all, and a memory that my wife and I will carry our entire lives, is the last song. The DJ played “ I Had the Time of my Life.” Yes, from Dirty Dancing. It seems corny, but it worked perfectly. Everyone was a little toasted by that point, and they danced us through the door and out to our waiting limousine. Entertainment Express gave me the single best memory of my entire wedding.
