We are delighted you are considering The Highgate Manor to host your special event. The Highgate Manor, originally built in 1818, has been a cherished cornerstone of our community for over two centuries. This historic venue offers a unique and unforgettable setting for your special day, steeped in fascinating history. The Manor has played a significant role in local history, serving as a stop on the Underground Railroad during the Civil War and housing tunnels once used by Al Capone to move liquor across the Canadian border during Prohibition. Recently, our grand ballroom was beautifully renovated and now features a full bar, heating and air conditioning, wireless internet, and a state-of-the-art Bluetooth audio-visual system, including a wireless microphone, projector, and screen. The ballroom also boasts three indoor restrooms, one of which is fully ADA-compliant, and a stunning antique chandelier, accented by two additional chandeliers that further enhance the grandeur of the space. For your event, we offer a fully equipped caterer's kitchen with a walk-in cooler. While cooking on-site is not permitted, you are welcome to bring in food and use warming devices such as Chafing Dishes and electric warmers. Additionally, we can provide recommendations for caterers and bartending services that have worked with us in the past and are familiar with the venue. Beautiful venue - An Eventective User from Franklin, VT

We had a baby shower for my son and his girlfriend today. The ballroom is gorgeous on it's own, but looked so cute with the shower decorations. The Manor staff were so helpful and made the planning so easy. It was a fabulous time and I so appreciate how easy the Staff made everything.
