About Riverfront Boathouse
When you have your event at the Riverfront Boathouse and in the Riverfront parks, you not only get to enjoy one of the most spectacular waterfront venues in the region, you help to connect people to this precious natural resource, to nature, and to each other.
The Riverfront Boathouse can accommodate up to 150 people for a sit down dinner, 230 for receptions and more than a thousand people if you incorporate tenting on our patios.
We are pleased to announce our partnership with Riverhouse Catering, our new exclusive caterer for all private events at the Greater Hartford Jaycees Community Boathouse. This partnership provides you with a single point-of-contact for events as Riverhouse Catering will work with you on all aspects of your event, from boathouse tours to menus, and more.
The boathouse is available for private events from May 1 through December 31.

I couldn't have chosen a better local for our 90 person wedding reception. We had challenges with a Tropical Storm on the evening of our event! The staff was wonderful & quickly moved the ceremony items inside to avoid the high winds and rain. Beautiful space that has a "nature" feel as it is a boathouse on the Connecticut River. I would host an event here at a moments notice without a thought!
