Jessica and Eric were amazingly supportive and coordinated with myself and my husband throughout our flawless wedding day. We held our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at the same location. Administratively, Jess and Eric were incredibly flexible and supportive. They contacted me periodically to make sure I was on track with planning. Jess returned phone calls and emails within minutes during workdays / weekends / vacation days. I swear she sleeps with her blackberry by her head. Food: I got SO many compliments on the food. Our tasting had to be scheduled for a couple days after we booked the vendor and they pulled some strings to make this happen. The chef came out and met with us and wanted to know if we wanted to change anything which we didn't because EVERYTHING was perfect. They were all so willing to accommodate our every need. We served halibut, filet, roasted chicken, and parmesan crepes. Decorations: The ballroom itself is very well designed and ornate without being over the top. Window coverings were maroon fringe like a 1920 flapper's dress. Very art deco. No need for tacky chair coverings. They provided CLEAN tables, chairs, napkins, table clothes and Eric had several colors to choose from. Cost: The most important of all. The G Fox Ballroom was extremely reasonably priced. All of the extras that other reception vendors charge for are included in the quoted person price on Marquee's website.
