About Wildlife Prairie Park

Wildlife Prairie Park is often referred to as a jewel in the Midwest. Located just outside of Peoria, IL, this 1,800-acre zoological park is home to over 150 animals; that’s 50 different species that are native to Illinois. Our guests come to learn about wolves, bison, waterfowl, black bears, elk, cougars, otters and much more. Two beautiful banquet halls overlook our bison and elk pasture. Hespell Deck offers abundant natural light and an open-air feel with it's walls of windows, opening on one side to the deck built over the pasture. Prairie Hall offers serenity and privacy nestled up against the corner of the bison and elk pasture in a small slice of the forest. Another space, the Log Room, is perfect for smaller weddings. The Log Room shares a wall with our wolf enclosure, housing a pack of active and social wolves likely to come right up to the windows of the event space.

This serene and peaceful site is in a remote area of the park and requires shuttle transportation for groups of 25 of more.
