Our pricing for wedding and corporate event music is designed to be flexible and tailored to your unique needs. The final price depends on several factors:
1. Size of Event: Larger events may require more extensive preparation and resources, influencing the overall cost.
2. Duration of Performance: Longer performances or multiple sets throughout the event will affect pricing.
3. Equipment Needs: If I need to bring my equipment, it may increase the cost. If the venue provides suitable equipment, the price may be lower.
4. Location: Travel expenses vary depending on the event's location within Halifax or beyond.
5. Special Requests: Customized arrangements or specific song requests can be accommodated, with potential adjustments to the pricing.

Terms and Conditions
Booking and Payment
1. Deposit: A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. This deposit ensures your date is reserved and is a commitment to the agreement.
2. Final Payment: The remaining 70% of the payment is due one day before the event date. Payment can be made via E-transfer, cheque, or another agreed-upon method.
Cancellation Policy
1. Client Cancellation:
- Change of Mind: The 30% deposit is non-refundable if the client cancels the booking due to a change of mind.
- Emergency Cancellations: In case of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, the cancellation policy can be reviewed and discussed on a case-by-case basis to determine if any part of the deposit can be refunded or if the booking can be rescheduled without additional charges.
2. Force Majeure: If the event is cancelled due to unforeseen events beyond control (e.g., natural disasters, severe illness), both parties will discuss potential rescheduling without additional costs. If rescheduling is not possible, a refund (minus any incurred expenses) may be considered.
Performance Terms
1. Performance Duration: Performance duration will be agreed upon in the contract. If additional time is required on the day of the event, it will be subject to availability and may incur extra fees.
2. Breaks: For performances exceeding two hours, a 10-minute break per hour will be scheduled. These breaks will be coordinated with the event’s itinerary to minimize disruption.
3. Changes to Booking:
- Time Extension: Any request for additional performance time must be made in advance and may incur additional fees.
- Venue Change: Changes to the performance venue must be communicated as early as possible. Significant changes may result in additional charges.
Additional Provisions
1. Equipment and Setup: The client must ensure that the performance area is set up as agreed, with all necessary equipment in place. Any special requirements will be discussed and outlined in the contract.
2. Liability: The musician is not responsible for any disruptions caused by external factors (e.g., power outages, venue issues). The client is responsible for providing a suitable performance environment.
Contact and Communication
1. Confirmation: Regular communication will be maintained leading up to the event to confirm details and address any questions or changes.
2. Final Check: A final check-in will occur one week before the event to ensure all details are confirmed and any last-minute adjustments are made.
