When I commit to working with a couple, here is what you can expect:
• Prompt email, text and phone call returns
• A pre-wedding consultation in person, via Skype or over the phone
• Location assistance ( I know some really great spots for beach weddings on the island)
• Ceremony preparation – Discussing and planning the way YOU want your ceremony to go
• You choose your preference for style of ceremony: Religious (mentions God, some scripture and a dedication prayer) Non-religious (no mention of God or scripture, no prayer) I also always add Hawaiian Traditional themes to each wedding that I do.
• Reliable – If I say I am going to be there – I will…..early
• The day of your ceremony – you will find me personal, informal, and friendly all with good leadership skills to make sure your ceremony goes smoothly.
• Travel time to any location on the island included – no extra or hidden charges
• Music – if desired – I sing and play the ukulele and can incorporate “The Hawaiian Wedding Song” as part of the ceremony if you would like
• Knowledge of and leading you through various other ceremony add-ons to make your wedding unique. (i.e. Unity Sand Ceremony, receiving communion, lei ceremony and more)
• License processing (if this is a wedding) – I will give you detailed instructions about how to obtain your marriage license here in Hawaii and will process you when we are done with the ceremony.
• For smaller weddings/renewals I can even act as a wedding coordinator and organize the group and I have even been known to grab a camera and become an on the spot wedding photographer. Whatever hat I need to wear, I will put it on gladly.
• A “Married In Hawaii” or “Vow Renewal in Hawaii” keepsake certificate to commemorate your special day.
• All this for a flat rate fee of $300 (Please add an additional $100 to my fee for extras like: Weddings on a boat cruise, sunrise weddings, hiking weddings, separate day rehearsals or any commitment where I will be investing extra time to your event over and above my normal wedding day obligations)
• This email is about my officiant services only. If you are interested in flowers, bouquet and coordination, my wife and I own a Wedding Planning business called “Tide The Knot” (www.tidetheknothawaii.com) and she can help you with those types of things for an extra cost. Call Kelli: *NOT DISPLAYED* to talk to her, she would love to come alongside of you to plan your special day.
