Leonards of Great Neck is a very friendly environment. They hold food tastings almost every saturday with appointment. the venue can accomodate a wide range of wedding sizes, from 60 to up to 1000 guests. they have recently done a massive make over of the place and once you enter you would get a feeling of just awe. they have an expansive cocktail menu as well as entree menu. but if you prefer to you bring in your own caterer that option is possible as well. everything i say can be vouched for because i had previously worked their for 3 years.

Leonard's La Dolce Vita was a wonderful place to have my wedding back in July 2010. They catered to our every need and offered many different options in terms of pricing, packages, food and service. We wanted to have traditional Italian and American foods at our wedding reception and not only were they able to deliver on this front, they were able to make everything delicious. The night started right after the reception. First there was a cocktail hour where they served generous portions of antipasti and pasta, as well as drinks at the open bar and salad. This was a nice way to relax after such a momentous occasion and also let the guests ease into their new surroundings. Then, the guess were brought into the big banquet hall where they were served delicious steakhouse-style fare. The family members and bride and groom parties were brought up and everybody cheered. We had our own DJ and Leonard's was very accommodating in that regard, and helped us shape the events of the night. We were made to feel like stars at Leonard's. The staff seems to recognize that one's wedding day can be stressful and they were their for our every need and were especially helpful when dealing with some of me and my wife's elderly relatives. The night went off without a hitch and we are grateful for the wonderful service that we received and the memories we will always have.
