Mantra Tea House is located in the Old Union Building in downtown Grass Valley. The Union Building is a beautiful historic townsite established in 1892, and used to be home of the Union Newspaper and printing press. The building is all brick with post-and-beam construction and vaulted ceilings, with a skylight and rounded windows. It has 7,000 square feet and two levels, with entrances on both on Mill St and South Auburn Street. The floating bamboo floors and open floor plan bring a spacious and inspiring environment for health, the arts, education and fun. There are 3 renovated bathrooms with zen vessel sinks and a clean, modern-meets-ancient atmosphere. The lower level has a tea house, bar and restaurant with a comfortable lounge for gathering. There is a full sound system and high speed internet throughout the building.
