Facilities and Capacity
A scenic drive along the historic Applegate Trail will bring you to Sungate Place; which is only 2 miles from Interstate 5, making it very easy for your out of town guests to find. Defined by its natural beauty, the getaway features a selection of either indoor or outdoor ceremony and reception sites for you to choose from. You can tie the knot in the Garden, an enchanting setting surrounded by lush greenery and tall trees. If weather is an issue, Sungate Place has an elegant Event Barn complete with heating and air conditioning, sound system and big screen tv's able to accomodate up to 200 guests. An outdoor kitchen with a sink, a commercial sized oven and stove, and a woodfired oven are included, along with an indoor kitchen with a walk-in cooler, sink and another commercial oven, dish sanitizer and ice maker. We provide all tables and seating, linens, 3 restrooms, and a beautiful play structure for younger guests to enjoy! Included are silk flower centerpieces silk greenery, and various vases, tea lights and string lights. Your nearest and dearest are sure to be charmed by the space’s peaceful ambiance. Its vintage black horse drawn surrey and its abundance of rustic scenery provides countless photographic opportunities. Couples can make use of the get-ready rooms located within the building to make last-minute sartorial touches. A vacation rental is included, which sleeps up to 4 guests.
Services Offered
We provide laundry service for the linens used and we will take care of the refuse and recyclables after your event. As well as weddings, the venue can set the scene for a variety of other milestone occasions, such as engagement parties, bridal showers, and rehearsal dinners. We also host corporate parties, celebrations of life, birthdays and baby showers!

Sungate Place is a beautiful wedding venue! We got married here in June. If you are looking for a venue with endless possibilities for set up, gorgeous landscaping, and a beautiful barn, look no further and book Sungate! The owners, Ken and Joanna are helpful and kind. They were very responsive to email correspondences when coordinating our wedding. The bridal party utilized the AirBnb that was onsite for getting ready! This was the prefect space for a small group of ladies. We can’t thank Joanna and Ken enough for their flexibility and help in creating our special day! Thank you!!
