We had our wedding and reception at the Frederik Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids, MI. For this event we utilized Applause Catering. We were given a choice of 4 local catering vendors and they were above all the best and came highly recommended to me by others who have used them for events. They were very professional, friendly, and helpful and had great food and great service. We were very pleased with their performance. Prior to our wedding they provided us with several consultation meetings to review the menu and make sure we had exactly what we needed for our event. They reviewed everything from table linens to menu and even were able to accommodate my sister who has allergies with a special plate made just for her! They provided excellent customer service and tailored a plan directly to our needs. At the event I had no worries at all, they showed up, got everything set up and did a great job with service. Everything was set up beautifully, no one waited for food and everything was done very professionally. The food was fantastic. We had a brunch/lunch event as we wanted a day wedding. The amount of food provided for the price was amazing. They provided us with both full brunch and lunch buffets and our guests were extremely pleased with their choices and with the quality of the food. We enjoyed our experience of working with this company and had no complaints or problems at all. I would highly recommend them to others! Their personal touch and great customer service, not to mention the value for the price is hard to beat.
