I planned a surprise 50th birthday party for my husband. We reserved a suite. It was the easiest most stress free event I have ever planned! It be service from start to finish was amazing. Great value for the price. Everything turned out perfect and I’m trying to figure out the next event I can have here!
Every year our association members can't wait for horse racing to begin at Lone Star Park. We've held "IEC Night at the Races" for many years and it's one of our most well attended and fun events!
We held our employee party at LSP in the Dash For The Cash space. Everything was absolutely wonderful, including the space, staff and food. Everyone enjoyed themselves and are looking forward to our next employee party at LSP again! We appreciate the time and effort that was put into our event! We will definitely be back!
This was our 19th year to host an annual customer event at Lone Star Park. Debbie Lankford has been our even coordinator for several years and does an outstanding job attending to all our needs quickly and professionally. The facilities and entire staff at LSP are top notch and we can't imagine holding our event elsewhere. Our customers love this event and we do too!

My husband has been a horse racing aficionado all his life, and since we live in the DFW area, Lone Star Park is his "home track." We often take friends to Silks, and It's been a dream of his, for a while, to rent a penthouse suite and throw a big party. So in honor of Memorial Day and as his belated birthday celebration this year, that's what we did. It was nothing short of a spectacular day. The environment was lovely, the food was delicious, and the service was top notch. From the event coordinator, Amy to our in-suite bartender, Marty, and including a special visit from social media director Rodney and a serenade by the official bugler, we and 21 of our best friends all enjoyed a day to remember for a long time to come. It was made all the more special by the naming of the Walter Shinder Memorial Race in honor of my husband's father, who introduced him to the sport of kings at an early age. The winner's circle photo is one we'll always treasure. The staff and crew at LSP went above and beyond expectations to make our whole group feel like royalty, and we can highly recommend this experience for anyone who wants to take their "day at the races" experience to the next level.
I can't say enough about the atmosphere and the fabulous staff who helped us pull off our very own "Kentucky Derby" themed business meeting. Seeing the horses outside was the icing on the cake. Debbie Lankford and her awesome team were great. It was a pleasure working with Debbie during the planning process and her staff was just as helpful and attentive to our needs throughout the entire day of our event. It was so nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We are looking forward to future events at this location.

The facility was impeccable. The staff were courteous and very helpful at all times. Working with Debbie during the planning was fantastic. She took care of everything we needed and went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied. We wish we could have done our event during the live racing, but even during this quiet time, Lonestar Park delivered a great space, outstanding service, and everyone raved about the food!

Our company put on an event at LSP in 2018. We put on events all over the country and are not based locally. We relied on the staff at LSP to help us navigate getting permits and equipment for the event. During set up and event day, we had great support.

The event was just fabulous. Amy Fischer was just the best. Took great care of us and we had a group of 40 and 2 suites. We had serious handicappers, people who go occasionally, people who went for the social aspect, and actually some that had never been to a track. ALL just absolutely loved it and want to go back. The service in the suite was fantastic. Food was super. The value was very very good for an entire day of horses, food, and wine in a suite.
Aspen Page, the staff, and the Lone Star Park Venue were extremely accommodating with our annual client and employee event that we have been hosting at LSP for the past 14 years. Every year has been met with amazing food, great service, and tons of fun. We are already looking forward to next year's party!
Having recently planned a personal event and also attending a Company function as an invitee, both were extremely delightful and FUN! The planning stage was completed easily, and I had great Customer Service in all phases -- even though I did have a few changes here and there. All went off without a hitch from the booking of the event, to the actual day of the event -- all Staff was wonderful to work with. I highly recommend reserving a space at Lone Star Park if you want an interactive, FUN, relaxing event.
We recently had our 3rd annual event at Lone Star Park in the Dash for Cash room. Debbie and her team did a fantastic job coordinating the event and handling our last minute guest increase, specialty food, and special requests. Our staff, clients, and guests greatly enjoyed our event. The room is large enough to have other activities for families while enjoying the race racing. Having private access to the track is a huge plus. We are excited to have our future events at Lone Star Park.
What a great day we at Lone Star Park. We were a group of people from retirees to young executives; friends and families out for a day of racing. We were very intrigued by the Exotic Animal races and decided to rent a suite for our first races of the season. Kristen, our group sales executive at Lone Star was fantastic from day one. Their was never a doubt about correct pricing from children to adults and she fully explained what was required of our group. The food was fantastic, our suite hostess was incredible and not one problem was encountered the entire day. EVERYBODY had a great time and we are talking about doing it again. Kristen and the entire staff exemplified the idea of how important great customer service can add to the totally enjoyable experience at Lone Star Park. We’ll be back.
My organization teamed with another organization for an event educating and entertaining 100 guests plus vendors. Lone Star Park was the perfect location since it nestles in between Dallas and Tarrant county. Our guests were coming from all over the DFW metroplex so location was important. Debbie was incredibly helpful with the logistics from the food, to the decor, and even helped me arrange valet parking with an outside vendor last minute when mother nature decided it was a great time for a down pour. Her team was great the entire day and I can't wait to have more events here. All of my guests loved the venue and the friendly staff.
Brighter Tomorrows is a nonprofit agency supporting and empowering victims of domestic violence and sexual assault with shelters in Grand Prairie and Irving. Lone Star Park is the perfect setting for our annual fundraising luncheon in March as we draw guests from both cities, and we couldn't be happier with the service and the pricing year after year. Recently the RMTC held an advisory council meeting at Lone Star Park, when I first contacted Lone Star they were nothing less than perfect. I was immediately placed in contact with Debbie Lankford, she was so helpful throughout the entire planning process from Oct-Jan. She was very professional and asked any questions I had throughout the process. Upon arrival for our meeting, everything was perfectly in place and had been taken care of. Each of the employees were kind and polite and offered to help us with anything, it truly was a wonderful experience I am so thankful for. I would recommend planning an event at Lone Star Park to anyone. When I return to Texas I will definitely go back to Lone Star Park, it is an absolute gorgeous track that everyone should see in their lifetime. Thank you for everything Debbie!!!!!
I work for an organization that specializes in showcasing safety and stability systems in large semi-tractor trailers. We have used Lone Star Park to host our customer events for the last 4 years, and with each successful event, our experience gets better! Aspen Page, the Director of Sales & Event Planning is second to none. I've worked with her on every detail of my events, and she delivers, without question. There's never a time where I feel like she doesn't have our best interests in mind. The catering staff is so diligent and responsive that it made us feel like we were staying at a 5-star resort! This place is the real deal. I contract with locations all over the United States and Canada, and Lone Star Park is by far one of the best properties we partner with. It's always a pleasure and a great experience when we visit. I'll be hosting again in April 2018, and because of Aspen, 90% of my planning is already finalized. She makes it so easy. This event was awesome from the planning stage to the end of the event evening. I was contacted back the same day of my inquiry. All of my questions were answered timely. They offered my group a great package. The event itself was awesome, easy access to the venue, very nice, clean suites. The food was amazing. The staff that worked our event were so nice and friendly. Everyone had a great time. People are still telling me how much fun they had. And several people won some bets! Horse racing, food, beverages - what's not to love?!
We have a very large company Christmas Party and Track Nights for our customers at Lone Star Park. I can't say how fantastic Lone Star Park works out for us. The Lone Star Park staff handles every detail. The venue, food, service is all great. And compared to other venues, Lone Star Park is a great value. We'll be back! Lone Star Park was an amazing place to host our party! The penthouse suite was a great value and we were very pleasantly surprised with how much we got for our money. Our guests had an awesome time and I have already booked another event there because of the good feedback I got after the first one. Our LSP rep, Debbie Lankford, is always helpful and responsive.

I had reached out to the staff at Lone Star Park to discuss having a special birthday party for my wife! The staff was very responsive and very helpful in both planning the party and also adapting to what was an ever changing guest list. The party was a huge hit, the venue was gorgeous and the food in both the suite and in the buffet was fantastic! Kristen was very helpful and went way out of her way to assist and ensure everyone had a great time even on what was one of the hottest days of the summer. I will definitely recommend Lone Star Park to friends and family going forward and I have even thought about how I could have my birthday there as well!
We have had our Company fiscal year parties here for the past 13 years. It is always so much fun. Everyone has a great time and loves the food. We always have excellent customer service from Lone Star Park staff. I have worked with Aspen the last several years and she is great to work with. I would highly recommend you try them out for your own party.
We have had our annual anniversary party here for several years now, in the Alysheba room, and have always had a great experience! The room can be transformed into anything you like, and the staff is easy to work with. Not to mention, our guests always love the food options!
