We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding! From start to finish, everything about our experience at The Rose was absolutely perfect. The food was incredible—our guests couldn’t stop raving about it! The meal was not only delicious but beautifully presented as well, and we were so happy with how well the catering team handled everything. The service was top-notch throughout the entire day. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and organized, making sure everything ran smoothly from the ceremony to the reception. We heard so many compliments from our guests, with many saying it was the best wedding they’d ever attended—and we owe a huge part of that to The Rose and their amazing team. The ambiance was simply stunning. It created the perfect setting for our big day, and we couldn’t have asked for a more picturesque location. It really felt like a dream come true. The location was ideal as well—convenient for our guests and easy to find, but still offering that special, magical atmosphere that made everything feel unique. We had our wedding here in October 2024 and it was absolutely everything we imagined! We held a smaller party at Buffalo Rose in 2021, and between the delicious food, great drink package, amazing environment, and the incredible built in coordinator Patricia we know our wedding would be amazing!!!! The planning process was truly a breeze thanks to Patricia's organization and expertise with event planning. It was an out of state wedding for us, and planning from a state over wasn't an issue at all. The wedding itself was everything we could have ever wanted and cannot recommend it enough!!!
The Rose was absolutely amazing for our wedding venue! We held the ceremony and reception there both, which allowed us to maximize our time and limit travel between locations. Our small wedding (33 people!) didn’t feel out of place, as the venue has the ability to transform to whatever size you might need. From the food to the staff to the amazing architecture, The Rose was absolutely amazing. If we had to do it all over again, no hesitation I would go with The Rose as my wedding venue.
We recently held the rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding at the Rose. What a wonderful venue! From the outset, the team at the Rose were wonderful to work with. Emily, our event coordinator, helped us with a terrific menu and handled every detail. Since we were planning this from across the country - it was especially important to have such a great coordinator. She was in regular contact and had many wonderful suggestions. The Buffalo Room was perfect for the warm and cozy feel we were looking for. The food was absolutely terrific - lots of great options - even for our vegan guests - and plentiful. Lyndie and Ellie, our event staff, could not have been better. They set the room up so it was beautiful and kept the food and drinks flowing. Special thanks to the Rose Team for making such a memorable event for our family.
We cannot recommend The Rose Event Center enough for a wedding. From the day we chose it as our venue Patricia and her team were by our side to make sure everything ran smoothly. Their organization, level of detail, and open communication were second-to-none in the wedding planning process. They made sure we were on track and covered at every step and worked with us to bring our creative visions to life. The night came together perfectly and we could not have had a better time. We had the welcome dinner for our wedding at The Rose patio and it couldn't have gone better. Emily helped us set everything up beforehand. She communicated well with us to choose a menu that fit our budget and dietary needs. She was great and reminding us when payments were due and ensuring that everything was correct ahead of time. Chelsea was the event captain day of and we cannot say enough about how amazing she was. We had met her previously and she recommended we check out The Rose for the dinner, which is why we ended up booking here. On the day of, she communicated well with both of us and all our guests. Food and drinks came out timely. She even got a kids meal out early for a kiddo that needed it. She went above and beyond to make sure all our guests had a good time. We even had multiple guests come up to us to say they thought she was doing a great job and that the service was amazing. Zach was helping her serve and also did an amazing job. We couldn't have had a better start to our wedding weekend!

I couldn't have imagined a more perfect day than our wedding at The Rose. The ambiance, food and organization of the venue was incredible. I was extremely overwhelmed with wedding planning but Patricia was so thorough with coordinating all the details and was really helpful at getting us to stay on top of planning so we weren't pushing anything to the last minute. On the day, my husband and I barely had to worry about anything except having the best time possible because Patricia and her team had everything so well thought out. I truly don't know how we would have done it without her. I would absolutely recommend anyone to have their wedding here!
We loved having our wedding reception at the Rose! The venue is so cool, and the staff were kind and courteous all night. The Rose's event planner, Patricia, is fun and very organized. She is a bit particular, however, we had initially asked for only passed appetizers and she pushed against that (preferring passed and stationed) for so long that we eventually just did it her way. Even with a few frustrating communications, we're very happy with how our wedding reception went and would certainly recommend the Rose.

If you are considering having your wedding here... just do it! Patricia alone makes it worth it! She is the wedding coordinator and she is amazing. I am not a planner and she helped me so much - she kept me on track for deadlines and gave me suggestions of things I wouldn't have thought of. She is super professional and on it. On the day of the wedding, she kept everyone in check and helped us have the best wedding day! I am SO glad we decided to have our wedding here it was beautiful! Oh yeah -the venue was great too!

The Rose Event Center and Patricia were AMAZING! The ambiance and setting was so warm and dramatic. It was a perfect place for our guests to visit, being right in the heart of Golden and with its historical background. Patricia was extremely attentive, intentional, and communicative. She was so helpful with having every little detail accounted for and also gave great advice when we were indecisive or unsure. We are extremely happy with our experience and if we had to do it all over again, we'd 100% choose The Rose Event Center again!
The Rose was the perfect reception venue. It is the modern and classy and does not need much decor. We received so many compliments on our choice of venue. This venue is gorgeous. It was the prefect place for us to have our wedding. From beginning to end, we had a great experience. I can’t say enough about the staff. Everyone was helpful. Patricia was no less than amazing. She is organized and accommodating. Anytime we hit a road block, Patricia was able to remove it and keep things flowing. She has a great passion for what she does and it shows in her work.
I recently had my son's rehearsal dinner at The Rose. It was a wonderful experience. Not only was the food amazing and the service impeccable, I did all of the planning from Maryland. They made the planning stress free and were very friendly as well as professional.
We just wrapped up our wonderful wedding at The Rose Event Center. We had a great experience with the staff and planning from day. You essentially get a wedding coordinator packaged into this venue when working with Patricia. Every minor detail she took care of. This made the day of the wedding incredibly stress free and we were able to have fun with our friends and family. We chose this venue specifically because we wanted a live band, the space did not disappoint. With the existing stage and sound system, it really brought the energy we wanted to our reception. We recommend going the live band at this venue! Only only down fault is that it doesn’t offer an outdoor area, so if you are looking for this especially for a classic outdoor Colorado ceremony you will have to look elsewhere. Other than that this venue met everything and more that we were looking for! It’s a bit of a hidden gem in Golden!
We attended a wonderful wedding at The Rose in July. It was very hot outside so I'm so happy they chose an air conditioned venue. I have food sensitivities so it makes me nervous to eat catered meals. But, the team (Patricia) and chef went out of their way BIG TIME to make sure I was taken care of and my meal was outstanding. I noticed real attention to detail with all aspects of the wedding.
Everything about having our wedding at The Rose Event Center was excellent. When we first walked in for a tour, the venue felt unique with its mezzanine high ceilings, exposed original brick walls, modern classy couches in the front seating area, inviting central bar, upgraded sound system, and touches of the history all around the venue. It just felt right for us. Patricia, the Event Planner extraordinaire at the Rose was engaging, friendly and focused right from the start. Her communication during planning through the day of the event was stellar. Her experience with wedding planning and the venue really helped make our event a success. The 15+ page spreadsheet was intimidating at first but she walked us through it and kept touching base when we hit certain milestones. Patricia provided suggestions when we asked which was helpful since it's not everyday we plan a wedding. Patricia also had great recommendations for vendors which made planning much easier, and helped us feel at ease that we were in good hands. The Rose chefs and bartenders take pride in the dishes and beverages they serve. There are many options and styles to choose from and they are willing to make some accommodations. We heard many compliments from the guests that they enjoyed their food, which was important to us. Overall our experience at The Rose was great and we highly recommend Patricia and her Team for any event. We wanted our guests to have an experience to remember and The Rose helped make that happened. Thank you for helping make this extraordinary day in our lives exceed our expectations. We held our Rehearsal Dinner in the Buffalo Room at The Rose. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! We don't live in Colorado so we had to coordinate the event remotely which could have been very stressful, but the staff at The Rose have it down to a science which made it so much easier than we anticipated. The night of the event couldn't have been more perfect. The staff there to help us was top notch. Chelsea knew just what to do and made sure that I didn't have to be stressed out about anything! The food and drinks were delicious and there was plenty. We were very happy with the choices we had made. The Buffalo Room was more than enough for our group and it was set up in a way so that it was private for us. Everyone had plenty of room to mingle and we could move the tables so that the guests could sit basically where they wanted. We highly recommend The Rose!
Our first experience with The Rose and All Four Seasons Events for our annual event. Hands down, the most incredible experience we have had in our ten years of planning. From our first inquiry til the closeout of the event, the service we experienced was world class. Every detail was handled professionally and without requiring hand holding to put together a great evening. Patricia Zutman specifically proved to be the consummate professional in event planning and made every aspect of the night come off perfectly. The staff, the food and beverage were all top notch and appreciated by our attendees. We will never seek another venue for our event and have already booked for 2023. You can be confident that whatever your event, it will be handled with ease and class.
If you are looking for a wedding or event venue, DO NOT miss out on The Rose. We fell in love with it as soon as we walked in the doors. The space was beautiful in itself but also so much potential to transform it into your dream wedding/event. I could go on and on about how gorgeous every part of the space is, but another major reason we picked The Rose was because of their coordinator, Patricia. We wanted to be as stress free as possible with planning and day of events. After initially talking to Patricia, we knew we were in good hands. I don't think my now husband!! and I could say enough thank you's for everything Patricia did to make our wedding day so perfect. At the end of the night, perfect, was the literally the only way we could describe it. I'm honestly not sure what we would have done without her guidance throughout the entire planning process, and the organization and leadership the day of. We had several guests coming up to us at rehearsal and all day/night Saturday complimenting Patricia and how efficient and professional she was. Patricia ran around all day with crutches, a boot on her foot, and a scooter, yet she somehow made sure everyone and everything was in place at the correct time. We all know you had to be EXHAUSTED when the night was over. From the bottom of our heart, thank you to Patricia and the entire Rose's staff. We truly had our dream wedding, and wish we could re-live it every day!
We celebrated our wedding this past May (2022) in Golden, Colorado at the Buffalo Rose Event Center. Patricia Zutman helped us coordinate all the details for the wedding; DJ'ing, food, decorations, time tables, essentially everything we would need to make the event special, and everything we didn't even think of. Her experience in coordinating weddings was top tier. Patricia knew how to keep things on a smooth schedule, and stayed completely flexible on the day of the wedding. She accomodated all the small changes we wanted to make too. We were completely stress free the day of the wedding, which was totally unexpected, but undoubtedly thanks to her immaculate planning. Patricia was exceptionally professional and kept us looped in on everything we'd need to complete and their timelines, and as a result, our wedding ceremony, dinner and reception went off perfectly. We're still receiving compliments on how beautiful the day way, and how well it was put together, comments on how it was the best wedding they'd ever attended, and we never could've experienced the unforgettable day we had without Patricia's help. She's an awesome person, the venue was an awesome location, and it ended up a day we will cherish for the rest of our lives!
We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Rose last weekend and it was absolutely wonderful. Not only do we love Golden, but this venue is beautiful in its self so I felt little pressure to add a bunch of decor. The food, the staff, the atmosphere, and Patricia the wedding planner was so great to work with and made our big day go smoothly. Hands down, I would do it all again right At the Rose.
Where to even start?! Everything about this venue is amazing! Obviously it's beautiful and charming but I really think Patricia is what makes this place over-the-top! She helped us plan and execute our wedding and I can say it would've been extremely difficult without her expertise and guidance. She is SO organized and keeps everything in order so walking into our wedding day we had ZERO worries. She made sure everything turned out perfectly and that we had the best day. I would recommend Patricia and The Rose to anyone looking for a wedding venue/coordinator. Worth every single penny!
My husband and I got married on March 12, 2022, our wedding reception was at The Rose. We are from Texas and planning an out-of-state wedding celebration has it's own obstacles. Patricia was very easy to work with and made the process pretty seamless. She sent reminders during the planning process and was very responsive to all of our questions. We were able to do everything remotely by conducting our first visit and walk through by facetime and family that live close by subbed in for our food tasting. The venue is beautiful, the serving staff was fantastic, and the food was very good by all accounts. Patricia was helpful in keeping us on our time schedule that evening and I'm sure checking to make sure everyone was taken care of by The Rose staff...I was on the dance floor most of the evening after getting some bites of my dinner. :) Several of our guests have continued saying it was the best wedding they've attended. I would recommend an onsite day of coordinator, if you don't want to ask friends and family, to help set-up and tear down your personal decor (memory table, seating chart, table name place cards, cake/dessert table, guest book, gift/cards table, centerpieces), the set-up was a bit more time consuming than I anticipated, thankfully we had an amazing friend and my sisters agree to help beforehand. Overall, we had an amazing wedding week in Golden! Cheers

We had the best wedding experience holding our wedding reception at The Rose, and can't say enough good things about working with their wedding planner, Patricia. The Rose checked all our boxes: it's located right in Golden, convenient with walkable restaurants and hotels for guests. It's large enough to host over 200. They have a real bar (two actually) so they keep the libations flowing, and since they're attached to the Buffalo Rose restaurant the food was delicious and a breeze. The interior design of The Rose is so pretty on its own that we barely had to decorate, and received so many compliments about how awesome the venue was. Finally, The Rose provides the linens (plenty of colors to choose from), tables, chairs, limited decoration supplies, everything. It made it so easy. Tour the Rose, meet Patricia, and trust that excited feeling you get. The service and style is the same even after the contract is signed.
My husband and I chose the Buffalo Rose for our wedding reception because of the amazing location, beautiful venue and wonderful staff. Patricia, with All Four Seasons Events, was so easy and helpful to work with in planning the details of the reception and coordinating details I would have never thought about! We had set an original date for February of 2021 but had to postpone because of COVID. The entire staff was so kind in working with us to help us weigh our options and pick another date. We ultimately got married in October of 2021 and the staff at Buffalo Rose made sure it was a perfect day for everyone! Not only was the food amazing (I still have dreams about the cocktail hour appetizers!) but the serving & bar staff were so kind to everyone. I can not recommend the Buffalo Rose and Patricia with All Four Seasons Events enough!
The Rose Event Center was AMAZING! From the time that we had walked into the beautiful venue, Patricia and The Rose Event Center staff were awesome! When we had our tasting the staff was so kind and honestly wanted to make our day special. The food is amazing! You have to have the Mac-n-Cheese bites and the Chicken Skewers with the sauce! On the wedding night, it was fun to personalize the marquee, and they were so kind to our guests. I could not count how many times people told us that the staff was awesome! We used the Estate room upstairs which really brought our wedding to life. We had plenty of room for our guests to drink and enjoy each other’s company. The food staff had our food plated and ready for us to eat and Patricia made sure that everything was in place and on time. We would highly recommend The Rose Event Center for your wedding!
We hosted the Welcome Party for our sons’s wedding at The Rose. The venue was amazing and the staff were so friendly and efficient. Everything was seamless, from booking the venue with Patricia to working through all the details with Carissa to the staff who worked the event. I can’t say enough about how wonderful the event was. We had our wedding here last weekend and couldn't have better things to say! Patricia is a lifesaver and she is so organized that it makes planning a wedding without a wedding planner easy. She is also the day of the event wedding coordinator, which was so helpful throughout the day. Honestly, Patricia had so many good ideas, recommendations for vendors, and overall advise throughout the wedding planning process. The staff at The Rose was very friendly and accommodating to all of our guests needs and we received a lot of great compliments on the food for our wedding. There were even a few guests who forgot to tell us about certain allergies prior to the day, the staff was able to accommodate their needs and made them something different. The venue is also very unique and customizable to all of your needs and the vision for your day! THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS THE BEST DAY EVER, many of our guests said it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to! :)
From the initial meet and greet/tour to the day of the event, the whole process was absolutely wonderful. The Stateroom venue was beautiful, updated and clean. The food was wonderful and they have a great selection to choose from. The staff was delightful to work with and very accommodating. We highly recommend using The Rose Event Center!
The Rose was the only venue my (now husband) and I physically went to see to host our reception. Upon walking in, we knew this was the place - the original exposed brick boasts the history of the building, theres the metal structure, leather and velvet furniture - I knew I only needed flowers and candles to decorate and the space would do the rest. A decor bonus is the venue has tall clear cylinder vases you can use! These were so helpful when trying to limit excess decor purchasing. We knew we wanted a live band and The Rose was perfect for that! We paid for the sound and lighting engineer (worth it!) and everything sounded amazing and transitioned flawlessly with all our different music types - from playlists to live music. We did their in-house bbq buffet for dinner and were told by several guests that to food was delicious! There are also a bunch of bar service options to choose from which limits a lot of coordination doing it all in house. This place was really very reasonable when it came down to food and beverages pricing with what you get. The staff were also very friendly. The real MVP of this venue is the wedding coordinator that you automatically get, Patricia! I didn't know I would need a wedding coordinator, but you do! She has a very thorough workbook you start working on right from the beginning (not gonna lie, it's a lot of work but it's so worth it), she's there to help with any and all of your questions. She helped us tailor our "we want a party with few wedding elements" to create the perfect reception for us. She also has a great calm, chill and yet professional attitude. On the day of I saw her with her clipboard and schedule in hand and asked "oh, you want to go over the schedule?" she replied "not with you, everything's taken care of and I will find you when I need you.. go enjoy!". She took care of everything! Once I took a breath, I didn't think or worry about timing or who was where or what had to be done. She was on top of it all. My mind is still blown away. Everything was just perfect! I cannot recommend this place enough. You also can't beat the location right in Golden which makes for a charming place for location and out of town guests.

The wedding venue search can be quite exhausting and draining, but the moment we walked into The Rose, we knew this was the perfect venue. Our first encounter was with the venue coordinator, Patricia, and the second we met her, we knew we were in the right place. She walked us through the beautiful venue that had the perfect layout for all the wedding dreams to come true. We were blown away by the number of options The Rose had to offer. Their event staff and chefs were truly one of a kind and made for the most perfect experience. I highly recommend The Rose to everyone! You will not regret it!

WOW!!!! WOW!!! The Rehearsal Dinner at The Rose out on the deck/patio area turned out beautifully! Thank you for all your help in putting together a very memorable event for our family - and many thanks to Crystal and David and the other Rose staff who served us that evening. Crystal did a great job under the "rain" pressure in trying to make the best out of the initial showers - and within a 1/2 hour the sun peeked through and there was even a rainbow!!! THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT!!! My compliments to you, Patricia, in helping with the selections and to the chef - the salmon and beef were absolutely delicious! We received many compliments throughout the night - from the hors d'oeuvres to the main course to the dessert - everything was so good! A group of us came back Saturday evening to enjoy another Rose dinner - and it was equally delicious! Patricia - you did an excellent job in bringing this event together. We had our wedding at The Rose with All Four Seasons Events and it couldn’t have been a better experience. Such a beautiful venue and an amazing location. I cannot say enough about the incredible catering manager, bartenders, and other staff. We have not stopped thinking about the food. My mouth is literally watering as I think about the fried Mac n cheese sticks we served as appetizers and the southwestern buffer we had for dinner. It rained on our wedding day but luckily The Rose has the beautiful State Room that we used for many of our photos. More than anything, I have to thank the event coordinator, Patricia Zutman, who thought of every single detail and made the day run so smoothly. She is so organized and I can’t believe how fast her email response time always was. Patricia solved every crisis with ease and was incredibly supportive of all the personal touches we wanted to include. She made planning a wedding from out of state (and during a pandemic) so much less stressful and I couldn’t have done it without her. Our guests raved about the entire event and The Rose will always hold a special place in our hearts.

She always kept us up to date with all the rules and regulations and updated us about timelines and pricing should we choose to postpone and re-schedule. We ended up forging ahead and never did try to reschedule; and were fortunate enough to have all of our desired guests be a part of our celebration. The Buffalo Rose with All Four Seasons Events was able to accommodate almost everything, and provide recommendations for things they did not provide (Such as decorations, cakes, transportation etc.) Buffalo Rose catered the food for the event- which turned out delicious. They were also able to coordinate our other vendors (lighting and drapery, floral, cake etc.) to ensure everything was set up and taken down smoothly. Patricia did an excellent job guiding my husband and I through the wedding planning process and the day of made sure we kept our wedding on schedule to make sure that we had time for all the planned special moments. The only thing we would advise other couples to keep in mind when planning concerned the food. While it did turn out delicious, it was not the same as when we had our tasting... My husband and I had been blown away when we had our tasting at how fresh and well prepared all the food had been. Obviously cooking 4 portions of food to taste is different than preparing enough for a group of 140. So we were a little disappointed the food was not as good and fresh as it had been when we had our tasting. However, our guests still enjoyed everything and we wouldn't have done anything differently in the end. All in all would highly recommend. Thank you to the Buffalo Rose and Patricia, with All Four Seasons Events for helping make our day so magical. It was a celebration we and our guests will always remember.
We recently had our wedding at The Rose in Golden and it was everything that we could ask for. The venue was able to accommodate the amount of guests that we wanted and with the historic aspect left and the classy remodeling that was completed a couple years ago it was perfect! It was important for us to have a place with enough space to make people comfortable as well as big bars! The stateroom upstairs is extra but in our opinion way worth it! The pricing was some of the best that we were able to find for the venue that included food, alcohol, table linens, etc. The food was amazing and fresh and they accommodated our request to have some of the appetizers served as late night snacks after you’re hungry from dancing and drinking some beverages. The staff was on point and had everything out timely and was very courteous. They also were very quick with their turn around time on the room since we did both our ceremony as well as we the reception there! Patricia who headed the wedding planning for The Rose was also a bonus! She was amazing to work with and had her T’s crossed and I’s dotted so nothing slipped through the cracks which is needed if you are a bride like I was with a million different things going on. Overall I would 100% recommend The Rose to anyone that is looking for a gem to get married at in Colorado!
The Rose Event center helped us to throw our dream wedding during the middle of the Covid Pandemic. It was a joy to work with them. Their food was par excellence and the venue was gorgeous. The staff was delightful and so helpful. They all wanted to make sure we felt special and taken care of on our wedding day. We kept having to change things due to Covid restrictions ever in flux, and Patricia was super helpful in navigating all the bumps along the way. The Rose is the perfect place to host your event or wedding! The venue is beautiful with lots of historical charm and staff went above and beyond our expectations to host our wedding even as Golden got two feet of snow! Staff members were professional and polite and we so enjoyed the food - having in-house catering will make your life much easier! Patricia, the event coordinator, made wedding planning a breeze and was very helpful on the day of (she even took it upon herself to give me an encouraging pep talk after I arrived covered in snow and having just learned that me hair and makeup artist canceled last minute). Despite all the craziness, we had a truly magical wedding! Thank you everyone at The Rose Event Center!
The Rose Event Center was the perfect space to celebrate our wedding. The classy feel of the building itself, paired with the amazing service from the staff made it a warm and welcoming place to gather with our friends and family. And with the precautions in place due to the pandemic, we were able to have the tables properly distanced, the food served safely by professional staff, and the feeling of being in a clean and well-cared-for space. Our guests loved the venue, and it made for the most beautiful photos that we’ll enjoy for many years to come.
When I saw the renovations to The Rose, I knew that it was the venue I wanted to host my wedding at. After meeting Patricia from All Four Seasons Event, their in-house wedding coordinator (!!!) and touring the place the decision was final, it was our one and only venue tour. The planning process was so easy since, 1. you get to work with Patricia who is the best wedding coordinator and 2. it's an all-inclusive venue. All-inclusive might seem scary since you don't get as many options as you would if you sourced everything from 18 million different vendors, but the convenience is 100% worth it and The Rose has curated an amazing selection of furniture, decor, linens, booze, and food. What's more is, just because it's all-inclusive doesn't mean you're locked into their preset offerings. We custom designed a menu to be served at interactive stations that guests could visit throughout the night instead of a traditional dinner service. Unfortunately due to the pandemic we had to postpone our wedding (two weeks before it was set to happen) and then recently made the decision to cancel our early 2021 wedding reception. The Rose staff was amazing throughout the whole process and we are so grateful for their amazing team. Since we were so close to our actual event we had completed the final walkthrough, food tasting, and even a little wine tasting they threw together for us. The food was AMAZING and I will dream in anguish about the mac and cheese sticks until they put them on the restaurant menu. After the final walk-through, I was so confident that our event was going to go off without a hitch. So it is what it is, but I would 100% recommend The Rose to any couple looking for a venue in the beautiful Historic Golden, CO.
In Planning a party at Buffalo Rose, I found the event coordinator, Patricia, to be a breath of fresh air. I could tell the moment we met that we would enjoy working with her and her staff. Our family has a number of food allergies. Patricia understood the importance of crafting a menu that was allergen-free for all of us, that our guests would enjoy, and in the party theme! Sadly, COVID-19 has put a damper on our party plans. Even as we found ourselves in the position of having to cancel our party, Patricia and her team have risen to the occasion. They handled the cancellation in a very kind and understanding manor. I was prepared to forfeit our deposit, but they decided to return the deposit to us, given the circumstance. This organization is a pleasure to work with and we will look to them for planning future events. Buffalo Rose exceeded our expectations.
My husband (fiance at the time) first toured the venue by himself. He is a native to Colorado, whereas I was living in Canada at the time. When I first saw the photos of The Rose venue I fell in love with it. It had everything we loved – an art deco décor, a mountain town feel, and historic significance. We planned our wedding in less than 4-months, with me in Canada for a majority of the planning, and it went off without a hitch! I was very impressed with this venue and with the service team. Our Event Coordinator and event staff were professional, pleasant, and prompt. The service and timing for everything were ideal. We had our wedding ceremony in front of the stage in the main venue and used the State Room for post-ceremony photos, while our guests enjoyed Cocktail Hour in the Lobby. Our menu featured Colorado inspired hors d'oeuvres, a plated dinner, and a hosted Signature Cocktail bar. We also treated our guests to some late-night tamales. Our guests are still raving about the quantity and quality of food served by The Rose. Our DJ provided some up-lighting, which we felt helped to illuminate the space. The Rose is full of photo opportunities, such as personalizing the marquee out front (super cute), under the Welcome to Golden sign, as well as up in the State Room against the elegant bar. I would highly recommend The Rose to you for any of your special occasions. My only regret is not pausing to take a moment to take it all in. To sum it all up in one sentence, The Rose helped make our wedding dream come true.
Our office holiday party was a hit! We loved the venue and the food. Highly recommend.
We held out end of season Team Awards ceremony at the Buffalo Rose last night. The team has nearly 100 athletes. The room was set for 190 people, all of whom showed up! Dinner was a Taco Bar that moved smoothly and easily allowing all guests to eat in a timely manner. We used the Stage and AV equipment provided by the Buffalo Rose and everything went smoothly and easily! Our interactions with the events coordinator and other staff were painless and simple. I don't know how many stars I can rate the Buffalo Rose with, but I will select the highest number possible! We look forward to holding next year's ceremony, and all future awards ceremonies here! What an amazing venue! What an amazing Staff! Thank You Buffalo Rose for supporting our community by providing your services to our team!!!
We had a small (24 ppl) surprise anniversary party at Buffalo Rose on Saturday, 6/15 and it was perfect from beginning to end! I worked with Patricia to finalize the details, menu and bar options. She was quite responsive, helpful and very personable. Our event was in the Back Deck area, which I highly recommend for groups of this size -- it's technically outdoor, but covered overhead on and on two sides. The open front area looks out to the bar seating and live music stage. There was a band during our event which added to the ambiance and our guests really enjoyed. The food is very good and the bar options are plentiful (and quite cost effective for an open bar). Patricia and team made us feel very welcomed and were so helpful the entire evening. I cannot say enough great things about this venue - we had such positive comments from all of our guests and would definitely return!
My husband and I hosted our son's college graduation lunch at The Buffalo Rose. Patricia Zutman, the event coordinator, is very knowlegeable, helpful and an absolute delite to work with. Everyone kept complimenting on the wonderful food and venue. The Buffalo Rose has hit a homerun with their remodel and adding the event areas.
