About Boettcher Mansion

Built in 1917 as a summer home and seasonal hunting lodge for Charles Boettcher, the 110-acre estate was donated to the County in the 1970s. Located in the heart of the Lookout Mountain Preserve, only 20 minutes from downtown Denver, this Arts & Crafts-style mansion offers a rare combination of historic authenticity and modern convenience. In 1975, the Mansion opened to the public as a unique venue for weddings and meetings. The Mansion, Carriage House and Gazebo may be rented for social events. The Fireside Room with its cathedral beamed ceiling, inglenook fireplace and adjoining Dining Room, Piano Room and Patio, is used for parties of up to 150. The outlying Gazebo, originally used by the family to observe the wild turkeys, deer and elk that roam the property, is a rustic spot for intimate gatherings of 20 or less.
