Tucked away in a charming neighborhood, the McQueen Park Activity Center offers a family-focused and welcoming atmosphere. We’re located close to downtown Gilbert and conveniently located on the borders of Chandler and Mesa, AZ. We're close to U.S. Route 60 and the Loop 202 Freeway to allow for easy traveling of your guests. This 27,000 square foot facility stands out due to its architecturally distinctive design allowing it to transform into an ideal and affordable venue for all of your rental needs. From small intimate gatherings to larger banquets, weddings and receptions; we can host them all! We offer private classrooms (4), multipurpose rooms (3), a prep kitchen, spacious lobby and enclosed courtyard. The center rests on a 41 acre park and overlooks a beautiful 2 acre, stocked lake. Lighted sports courts & fields, tot lot play areas, restroom facilities, multi-use trails and outdoor ramadas are also available just outside of the facility. Good Rental for Independent Film Screenings - An Eventective User

I screened a locally-produced movie here. The price was reasonable, and everything went as planned. The projector and screen were sufficient, the staff is courteous, and we were able to comfortably seat between 30 and 40 people. My only complaint was a little invasive sunlight (the curtains are nearly see-through and there was no curtain at all on the exit door). But for the price and other conveniences, that issue was minor. I recommend McQueen Park Activity Center for other low-budget filmmakers, and might work with them again on future projects!

From beginning to end, all the employees were so helpful and knowledgeable for the rental. Excellent Communication of the necessary permits and steps was so appreciated. We held my father in laws Celebration of Life in two of the rooms for 85 people. It was a perfect location, plenty of space, clean, having everything there for us, we only needed the table clothes, decorations and food! Having the AV equipment was such a relief to be able to have a slide show and play music throughout the event. Went a few days prior for an AV walk through, so I didn't have to worry about it the day of. Always helpful and accommodating. Great location for events, banquets, parties, business meetings. Highly recommend. Kudos to all the employees - they truly provided excellent service and showed they cared our event was a success!

We held a baby shower at this location. Price for rental was unbeatable. There’s a playground and activity area for kids to play outdoor, which helps get their energy out, instead of inside. Clean, spacious rooms, with updated, modern look and feel. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. This place will be our go to, for renting a place.

We held our daughter's Sweet 16 there over the weekend. We rented 2 rooms to allow plenty of space for our party plus room for food and dancing. The patio was an added bonus with room rental. The staff was super helpful and friendly. They provided, and set up, and cleaned up the tables and chairs. With one of the best rates around town, we will definitely use McQueen Park Activity Center again! Special thanks to Jeannie who answered every question and went the extra mile to help us along the way!

We really loved this location - An Eventective User

We needed a reasonable place to hold a celebration of life and found McQueen Park while googling for event venues. It was a good experience from the initial inquiry to to the end of the event. It turned out great. Jeannie was so incredibly kind, knowledgeable, helpful and thoughtful through the entire process. The only hiccup was that I was not able to log into their WiFi- but I had planned for this to happen, so I had brought a wireless speaker to play our music playlist and just used my phone instead of logging into WiFi. Partly my fault, as they offered me to come in the day before to figure out the tech stuff, but I was too busy to do it. The password would not work for some reason. So I would say the only con was the WiFi and that can easily be fixed by taking time to make sure you can Access it- I was also rushed for time during set up because set up is included in the time you rent. I would suggest reserving an extra 1.5-2 hrs to do that. One hour was not enough for us. It worked out, but I forgot a few things in the rushing process - just something to keep in mind.
