I was a little nervous, at first, about making the choice to have my wedding at Ramada Geneva Lakefront. It was my wives idea but, for some reason, I had always had a pre-planned traditional vision of our wedding lodged into my subconscious and I was uneasy about a lakefront wedding. When I strolled along the beautiful waterside property of the wedding venue, however, my mind was completely made up. I knew this was the place where I wanted to spend the most important day of my life with the most important person of my life. The venue has a roomy backyard area where guests can conjugate afterwards and feel free to either explore the surrounding area or to do whatever they wish. The lakeside atmosphere would have to be the biggest positive. I'll never forget walking with my new wife along the pier and looking out into the water together. It was a huge occasion to me and I definitely don't forget having it at Ramada. The only real complaint I could make is that the staff, at times, could often appear to be pushy. I suppose this is to be expected from upscale venues like this, but even so, they should understand that this is supposed to be an important occasion, and nobody wants it to be scarred. One older staff member in particular, a somber and rude woman, bothered some of my guests. It might be just another day of their job, but it was a huge day for me and my wife. Even so, this one snag wasn't enough to discourage me from recommending the place to others. The scenery of the interior and exterior will make a beautiful backdrop for your wedding.
