My family has been using Mattie Lou's florist for years. Initially it was just a small one room building with one woman (Mattie Lou) who did all of the arrangements herself. Mattie Lou has since aged and has passed it down to two other women. I was initially worried about what this would mean for the quality of the arrangements but I have never been anything but pleasantly surprised. Their level of work is most definitely above par and they still treat each customer as if they were family. Their prices are fair and I have never once been disappointed in anything they have done for us. They did the arrangements for both of my great grandparents funerals as well as most of the arrangements for other funerals that I have attended. They have all been breathtakingly done. My mother also used them for her wedding arrangements. They put a higher level of care into their floral services and it most definitely shows. Some places you will find their lower prices to be because they are offering an inferior product. That is certainly not the case here. Everything I have ever seen them produce has been top notch. They are also friendly, happy people. They know exactly how to walk that fine line between business professional and humor, which I find extremely important. I cannot stress again how impressed I have always been with this company. I would definitely suggest them to anyone needing a florist in the surrounding areas.
