Terms and Conditions
(1) By signing this contact, you have agreed to abide by the terms set forth.
(2) Spinmaster Entertainment will contact you approximately 1 week prior to the affair.
(3) Deposit shall be the greater of $100 or 25%, whichever is greatest. The deposit may be paid by personal check only if party is 4+ weeks away. However, a minimum fee of $35 will be assessed for a bounced check plus the original amount of the check.
(4) Cash, Money order, or certified check will be the only acceptable form for final payment.
(5) The balance due must be paid at the beginning of the affair.
(6) If the party is outdoors and a raindate has been set and both dates are cancelled due to inclimate weather, the deposit shall be held for a period of not more than 365 days from the date of the original party. The party must be rebooked before this timeframe or the deposit will be forfeited.
(7) If this contract is breached by said client within 30 days of the affair, damage shall be the agreed Full amount due plus the greater of 5% of the deposit or $10 under this contract.
(8) If this contract is breached by said client between 31 days and 60 days before affair, damage shall not exceed the amount of the total deposit or $150 (whichever is greater) plus the greater of 5% of the deposit or $10 under this contract.
(9) If this contract is breached by said client more than 60 days before said affair, a refund will be given less a 50% cancellation fee (The minimum cancellation fee will be $75.00) and the greater of 5% of the deposit or $10 under this contract.
(10) Spinmaster Entertainment and its employees shall not be held liable for damages or failure to perform due to “Acts Of God” or any events outside of its control. This includes operating all equipment in an environment outside the temperature range of +45 ºF to +90 ºF (+7.22 ºC to + 32.22 ºC) & with more than 80% relative humidity. Said client waives any claim against Spinmaster Entertainment and all it’s employees for any personal injury or property damage suffered in connection with same hereunder.
(11) Client understands that Spinmaster Entertainment has the right to substitute any entertainer under any case of any extreme need or emergency with or without notice.
(12) While it is the intent of Spinmaster Entertainment to play all music requests, some music may not be played. For this reason, it is prudent in making any special requests at least two weeks prior to the date of the aforementioned affair to ensure that the proper song(s) or CD(s) can be obtained and played.
(13) If for any reason the original DJ can NOT make it to the affair due to unforeseen circumstance(s), a replacement will be obtained. In the event that no DJ can be had at all, a full refund of the deposit will be made; no further action may be taken against Spinmaster Entertainment.
(14) All packages are based on four hour affair (unless otherwise noted) and a maximum distance of 20 Miles from our location. Additional Mileage is $3.00 per mile (in one direction) or any part thereof.
(15) MEALS. It is customary to offer your entertainment a meal. If you don't plan on this, please let us know in advance so that we can make other arrangements for the DJ/MC to eat. Remember, we are at your event at least an hour or so prior to your affair, and we leave an hour later! If your affair is a 4 hour affair, then that would make it SIX hours without eating.
(16) If event is located near a pool area, All equipment must be no less than 30 feet away from all water and/or liquid sources. This is to prevent damage to the system.
(17) Any damage to the DJ system and any of its components arising from any liquid being sprayed, thrown, splashed or poured into or near components shall be the responsibility for replacement by the party signed hereunder. Equipment shall be replaced at the actual replacement cost.
Four hours of nonstop music that includes a 1-person DJ/MC. You can select your own music for me to play, or I can play suitable music to your liking. All parties are NOT the same, so we tailor your party the way you want it. We can take requests if you wish.
If there is a candle lighting ceremony, we include a CD with 17 songs; the last song is for good luck!!
