I recently had to fly out to Fort Worth, TX to attending my bosses wedding or as she would say, the grandest wedding of the century. The reception was going to be held at The City Club of Fort Worth. Now, naturally, me being my bosses Executive Administrative Assistant I was put in charge with a lot of the major wedding planning details, down to securing the venue in Fort Worth, TX.. My boss is a native to Fort Worth, TX, me on the other hand have never foot in the huge state. I immediately started to search on the internet for the best, most lavish and luxurious location I could find. Of all the pictures the one of The City Club of Fort Worth was just bursting with every single element I needed. I would not see the location until the day of the wedding so I had to be absolutely sure I was choosing the perfect venue. The Head of Wedding Affairs, Mary contacted me constantly to send me their previous wedding portfolios, the gourmet food and drink menu, the architectural layout of the reception grounds and everything else I needed but didn't think of. The representative was right on point and very hands on with me though I was thousands of miles away. The big day was finally upon us. My flight got in that morning, so the wedding day would be the first time I would actually experience the luxurious beauty of the estate. Words could not describe how relieved and thrill I was when I arrived to the venue. Beautiful large flowers were hung all around, the staff approached each new coming guest with the brides specialty drink. The City Club of Fort Worth offered excellent, speedy valet services. The 5 course gourmet meal and appetizers were a big hit also. The filet of steaks, seafood and sushi were top notch and prepared by one of the highest ranking chefs in Texas. The elegance and lighting of the dining room make the occasion even more special and classic. My boss said this was the best wedding yet and I will plan the next also if need be. I am so pleased at the administrative staff at The City Club of Fort Worth, TX. Without the long distance help and trading of ideas this wedding would have been impossible to pull of. It was the best one I have ever been to, off of the decor and demeanor of style alone. Thank you Texas for doing it bigger and better.
