Shack in the Back BBQ is conveniently located 1 mile south of the Gene Snyder off the New Cut Rd. exit in the heart of Fairdale. We are located in a fully restored log home that was built in 1896. We offer full service catering for all occasions. From weddings to graduations to corporate cookouts to backyard barbecues no catering to big or small, we cater them all. All of our meats are smoked to perfection the old fashioned way on REAL pits with hickory wood for a minimum of 14-16 hours. We offer pulled pork, chicken, boneless pork chops, brisket and the best & biggest baby back ribs in town. We are also the home of the “Turkey Rib”. It’s a delicious, bone-in piece of all white meat that is topped with our original rub, lightly smoked & served with our White Lightnin’ sauce. All of our side dishes & desserts are made from scratch & we have 5 homemade sauces to choose from. We are open 11-8 Tuesday through Thursday, 11-9 Friday & Saturday and Closed on Sunday & Monday.
