Over the last ten years my jazz trio, comprised of bass, guitar and bassoon has performed for cocktail hour at weddings or birthday and engagement parties. The trio can be supplemented with drums and singer to become more lively and dance-able. The trio plays blues,jazz standards, ballads, blues, Brazilian music and originals.. It is a rare opportunity to hear bassoon leading a jazz group. Normally the instrument is only heard in classical ensembles and its uniqueness will make your event very memorable.
