I used Christy's Florist for Mother's Day this past year. I paid top dollar, and they really went above and beyond to give me the best. My brother and I chipped in $200 for our mom, and notified the florist about a week in advance as to what day I would come in and pick the arrangement up. When I first arrived, they brought me the vase, to make sure I approved of their selection. It was gorgeous, heavy, solid, impressive crystal vase, both regal and elegant. You could tell from the employees faces they were excited to finally bring out the big guns. Even after spending the entire week making Mother's Day bouquets for the rest of the area, this family owned business put aside some of the best stock of flowers I had ever seen, and let me pick out some real show stoppers. Beautiful lilies, carnations, roses, hydrangeas, in bright bold colors, fresh as could be. Their on staff arranger took my requested flowers and added his own flowers and plants to really give the whole thing height, fullness, and range of colors. It took him only 20 minutes from start to finish, and I was completely floored by the results. Orange, reds, yellows, pinks, whites, a small smattering of purple, and crisp greens that when placed on the counter, was taller than me! (I am 5'2" though). They offer a lot of predetermined arrangements and deals on their website and in person, but if you have your own request, they really thrive off the creativity and put in their all to give you your money's worth.
