We searched all over the Austin area for a great place for the wedding. Most places were gorgeous, but too expensive, or within our price-range but not anywhere I would want to host a crowd of 150. And then we found the Terrace Club. In beautiful Hill Country, it looks out over the west, making for gorgeous sunset photos. The staff of the Club were very helpful and accommodating. They provided us with lists of vendors so we didn't have to run all over town. They orchestrated everything the day of the wedding--from getting everyone outside for the ceremony, to making sure the wedding party got some food, to even cutting the cake and handing out champagne for the toasts. One thing that was a definite draw to the Terrace Club was the fact that its staff did all the decorating; all we had to do was tell them what the colors were and how we wanted the napkins folded--they did the rest. The Club also has an in-house caterer, whose food is divine! If you want liquor, they have a bartender--you just need to bring the booze (though they do have margarita machines!). All of these things made the day nearly stress-free. Another stress eliminator was the fact that the Terrace Club has an inside venue for rainy days or winter weddings. It was nice to know that even if there were rain outside, the day would not have been ruined. This place truly was fantastic. It comfortably accommodated our wedding of 150 guests. Everyone raved about the venue and the decorations. If I had it all to do again, I would undoubtedly choose the Terrace Club
