One week ago I was married – spectacularly and joyfully! I was blessed to find the perfect outdoor venue for a relaxed but elegant wedding – Cross Creek Ranch (hereafter referred to as CCR) and their lovely French Country venue. I will not bore you with the imagery and details here of my wedding – but will instead strive to include details that will help the next bride choose the just right venue! My background is Ecommerce – marketing and design – and I know how much both a business and a potential client rely upon and research reviews. Many businesses go so far as to harass clients to “post a review” – however, that is not the case with CCR. I hope my written experience will help you the next bride is making a profoundly just and wonderful decision in selecting CCR for your wedding day! Choose joy and love and enjoy your beautiful day! I found the wedding planning process to be clearly defined; user friendly; with their format taking an overall large event and segmenting it into a step-by-step, easy, more stress free process than I could have initially imagined, and in the old southern saying “anyone can eat an elephant – just take it one small bite at a time!” CCR will assist you With taking it one small bite at a time and keep your joy intact while keeping your stress at bay. In any business it is always the people that add to, make it, or break it. More so in a wedding venue!! As a manager myself I always strive to create a work atmosphere where the people thrive, no toxicity, and the space for personal and professional joy. A business catering to a wedding is at an increased challenge to create a positive, loving, professional, non-toxic environment since the purest emotion (love) is at the heart and crux of their business. I was asked what did I wish my wedding to be? My response: Joyful! Laughter filled, and with love and positivity exuding from all guests and the CCR team participating! So to all you brides: here’s the amazing CCR team that pulled off my joyful and laughter filled wedding day! Valerie Anderson – Lead Wedding Coordinator; Lindsay Horst - Assistant Coordinator; Bartender Tammy Pittman; Kenny Jones; Sierra Laatsch; Roly Rodriguez;Elaine Kincy - Banquet Mgr.;Valerie Lacey – Banquet; and Steve Llang- DJ. KUDOS AND GRATITUDE to a team of people that in the worst of heat, pressure, and dealing with people loaded with emotion – you were SUCCESSFUL! My wedding was joyful!
