Special K'z the Clown provides family friendly entertainment in the way of a costumed character. She specializes in beautiful balloon artistry, quirky musical accompaniment on her autoharp and stumpf fiddle, and a music, clowny comedy magic and balloon stage show. She can add an air of festivity to your event providing outrageous balloon hats and wearables to your guests at your wedding, community festival or private party. A professional balloon twister non-clown character is available for more formal events. Listing of services: Roving clown: This option has Special K'z in full clown attire walking your grounds providing light hearted humor with large foam props and gags and/or smaller pocket magic or gags to bring smiles and laughter from those attending your event. This works well if you wish to provide entertainment over a larger physical area. Roving clown/musician: Special K'z can bring her unique sense of humor providing musical entertainment singing quirky, folk type songs as a roving musician. She uses an autoharp as accompaniment. She can also provide recorded music through a portable amp while playing a unique one man band type rhythm instrument called a Stumpf Fiddle. This allows for an interactive experience for the audience with assorted rhythm band instruments such as a washboard or jingle sticks for them to join in the fun. This option works particularly well at old time musical festivals such as polka fests or if booking services over the traditional meal times. Sprout Spree: Special K'z will bring a large assortment of interactive options for the young and young at heart. This may include huge 3 foot hula hoops, balancing feathers (weather permitting), spinning plates and/or bubble wands including one 8 foot tall, having the young ones making bubbles up to 4 or 5 feet in diameter (weather permitting). Special K'z will join in leading the fun and assisting those ready to give it a go. This works particularly well for outdoor events where there is a large amount of room and good weather. It's Showtime: Special K'z provides a fun, interactive 30 min. show. She brings her own full sound system and microphones capable of filling a small gym with sound (All you need to provide is an electrical outlet within 150 feet of the performance area). A stage is not necessary but if provided steps up to the stage will be needed for volunteers to come up on stage during the performance). The show is a blend of engaging children's magic including magic coloring book, production type magic such as a dove pan or change bag, and music with huge innovative balloon puppets in the finale. This option works well if you wish to entertain a large number of people in a shorter amount of time and also leads well into the next option if wishing to book more services. Balloon line twisting: Special K'z is an accomplished balloon twister providing a wide assortment of individual balloon creations for your guests. She is able to take requests for items that might not be listed on her multiple page menu and can often come up with a new balloon creation "on the fly". She is able to provide approximately 12 to 18 creations per hour. This works as a nice add on to the show listed in option number 4 or for full day events. Balloon line twisting usually requires at least a two hour minimum except for small private parties. Birthday party show: Special K'z brings her own twist to the typical birthday party festivities. A typical birthday party booking consists of a 30 min show featuring the birthday child as the magician's assistant and 30 min. of balloon line twisting for up to 12 guests. Additional guests can be accommodated for additional time at an extra charge. A balloon craft, balloon games or other activities can be booked to personalize your private party. Special K'z can provide any of the above services in combination depending upon the physical conditions of your event, amount of time, and/or time of day booked.
