SO MUCH YES! - An Eventective User from Roanoke

This was the PERFECT venue for our wedding, and I'd absolutely encourage anyone who is going to be getting married to use this venue or at least use Walters Weddings (and try to get Hallie as your planner) From the very first time we reached out the team at Ashton Gardens was prompt, professional and friendly. Then when we toured the venue... the chapel is breathtaking, the grounds are very well kept, more than enough parking and the reception area... simply beautiful. We worked with Hallie and I can't say enough wonderful things about her and her team. She made planning so smooth and easy, had great suggestions in helping us to achieve our vision. On the day of, if there had been any snags we still haven't heard about them. Hallie and Tabitha (and everyone there) made everything run smoothly, on time and they even helped me pull of the surprise of having a stringed quartet to play for our ceremony that I got for my fiancé. Yes there is a space for that in the chapel and the acoustics are fantastic! Cody was a great dj for our day as well. Honestly, everyone who was a part of our day felt like family by the end of it all.

I had my wedding and reception at Ashton Gardens in October of 2011, and I can't stop raving about this chapel! The wedding planning process was made so simple because of the wedding planning staff. Ashley, the wedding planner that we worked with really listened to what my husband and I wanted for both our ceremony and reception. She never pressured us to go out of our price range, and eliminated so much pre-wedding stress. She was also extremely well informed of the best cakes, flowers, and wedding necessities in the area. If Ashley wasn't there another wedding planner was ready to answer any question I had. They were also very flexible with our payment plan for out wedding. The chapel is stunning. The floor to ceiling windows with the view of the forest is the perfect combination of simple and breathtaking. The twin reception halls were equally beautiful, with the same views of the forest area surrounding the chapel. The reception halls had excellent lighting, and a large dance floor, which was put into good use. The wait staff that worked at our reception was top notch. They were extremely professional and approachable, which I believe is an extremely rare quality. It was a slightly smaller chapel that I had originally planned on, but it seated our 175 guests comfortably. Without the staff at Ashton Gardens I don't believe I would have been able to plan the wedding of my dreams. Everything was beautiful, well-organized, and I truly couldn't ask for more.

During 2007 and 2008 we visited the best Dallas/ Ft Worth wedding venues and reception facilities to determine if a new wedding reception venue and wedding chapel (based on our existing award winning Houston wedding reception venue and chapel) would be successful. We also visited many wedding places, reception venues, and wedding chapels within a 100 mile radius of Dallas/Ft Worth that had beautiful reception ballrooms and respected banquet services. We purchased wooded land in the Dallas/Ft Worth Metro area in 2008 for the wedding chapel and wedding reception facility and began construction in 2009. The first wedding in the new Dallas/Ft Worth Ashton Gardens wedding chapel and wedding venue was held on July 30, 2010 only after conducting extensive 3 week training with our service, culinary, and banqueting personnel. Among all of the Dallas / Ft. Worth wedding places, Ashton Gardens truly stands out. Brides now have a beautiful wooded backdrop for their ceremony in the wedding chapel and also for the wedding reception in the crystal chandelier studded ballrooms. Guests will now enjoy the finest service and cuisine of all Dallas / Ft. Worth wedding reception venues. Ashton Gardens is the newest of all Dallas / Ft. Worth wedding places in the Metroplex. The wedding reception facility, wedding chapel, gardens and forest are meticulously maintained and will remain beautiful for years to come. Ashton Gardens is now the most upscale of all North Dallas / Ft. Worth wedding venues, and the grandest of all Dallas / Ft. Worth wedding locations. We enjoy hosting stress free wedding receptions in the most beautiful of all Dallas / Ft. Worth wedding venues. Of all Dallas / Ft. Worth wedding places, we're the only one with a free standing wedding chapel. A short walk down a striking colonnade lined sidewalk takes guests to a beautiful ballroom for wedding receptions. Guests will not get lost between the Dallas / Ft Worth ceremony and a separate Dallas / Ft. Worth wedding reception location, which sets Ashton Gardens apart from all other Dallas / Ft. Worth wedding places.

The Loveliest Wedding Venue in Dallas - An Eventective User from Coppell, Texas

Ashton Gardens is by far one of the most beautiful places to celebrate your big day in Texas. The venue is located in central Dallas, Texas, making it in a great location for guests to find places to stay and such. Furthermore, it is a lovely venue with great decor, fantastic floor to ceiling windows, and a great view to match. There are also great and spacious dressing rooms for the bride and groom. However, the ceremony space is on the small side, only for smaller weddings. The reception area is a little larger, though, and can accommodate quite a large crowd for the festivities. Also, the reception area has great appeal. The whole area was cleaned spotless and in great shape. The decor was pretty and the lights were romantic and traditional. However, the dance floor was a little small and there was not much room to put a DJ. The food, on the other hand, was delicious. All of the food was homemade and perfect! They had the option of a buffet dinner or a sit down dinner. The sit down dinner was great and there were a ton of different menus to choose from as well as a variety of appetizers for the cocktail hour. Furthermore, it was a custom experience that was fantastic. Finally, they provided a sampling event that allowed for changes to be made the recipes and such. The staff at Ashton Gardens is phenomenal as well. They were all friendly and helpful and really made everything run smoothly. Overall, it was a great venue for a wonderful occasion.

Wedding Perfection - An Eventective User from San Diego,CA

Let's face facts. With today's economy many people can not afford to pay for an elaborate wedding ceremony and (good God!) reception. I attended my neighbor's daughter's wedding last weekend and was charmed by the venue. Perfect for 75 to 100 total capacity, the cottage has a wonderful local history as it was originally built in 1906 by the Scripp's family (yes that one). A large patio suffices for a modest reception. Wedding Chapel rental for 2 hours and reception for 4 hours is less than $1000.00. A ""simple"" wedding is $400.00. The full boat with an antique limousine and ""don't lift a finger, just show up"" service is $7000.00. The location is easy to get to by following exact directions (yes, a u-turn is required if coming from the East). Parking is limited, car pooling is suggested. BTW, my wife and I have been married for 43 years, which does not make me an expert, but at least I can recognize a good wedding. Best of luck to the new Mr.&Mrs. Alvarez! Things to keep in mind; no DJ's are allowed at the site, but we used our own IPod mixes for the ceremony and reception which added a nice personal touch. No hard liquor is allowed but beer, wine and champagne are just fine. We had plenty of all that and no one seemed to mind anyway since it was an open bar. So stock up at your favorite Costco or Bevmo to save a dollar or two.. I highly recommend this site for a personalized, all inclusive, romantic and intimate wedding experience at an economical price...and that, my friends, is truly fabulous.

Unforgettable - An Eventective User from New York City, New York

Ashton Gardens provides an amazing wedding venue, and they help you with it as much as possible. They will give you a wonderful wedding, and at an affordable price too! Ashton Gardens also has an excellent view from their glass-enclosed chapel. The scenery is just beautiful around the chapel, and the chapel itself gives off a great feel of atmosphere. I just loved the chapel's architecture and location. The wedding was during the day, but I've seen pictures of the night time ceremonies. They were both very stunning and beautiful. The chapel provides Bridal Dressing Suites which have private vanities and restrooms. They also have an intimate family lounge, which is great for those moments with your family and close friends before the ceremony. There is also a separate groom's lounge for the men in the wedding party. The chapel features amazing ivory pews, and elegant candelabras, with an accent of great greenery and tall trees in the background. I really enjoyed going to the chapel, for it had a kind of small church feel to it, although it still looked absolutely amazing. The chapel features adjustable lighting, so you can have it just how you want it. There is also a loft for vocalists, photographers, or recording. There are also two large candelabras as well. The decoration and feel of the Ashton Garden chapel is just perfect. I couldn't have asked for more. The Ashton Garden chapel is definitely a wedding venue that I would recommend to anyone looking for an unforgettable wedding day.

Couldn't Imagine a Better Wedding - An Eventective User from Dallas, Texas

My wife Kristin and I were married here December 20, 2011, and I'd just like to say how incredibly satisfied we were with the entire ceremony. This night was a wonderful experience for both my wife and I, thanks to the wonderful hospitality shown to us by the staff as well as the delicious food and beautiful atmosphere. I would especially like to comment on how amazing Laura was to us. We were naturally very nervous, and she helped guide us through the planning process like a professional. Seriously, she was on top of every single possible worry that we might have had. I also would like to commend Mike on how helpful he was, his organizational skills are second to none! The food was incredible as well. I ordered the salmon with herb butter, and it was absolutely fantastic. The dishes were also garnished beautifully, and multiple family members mentioned to me just how beautiful and delicious the food was. The windows in the chapel are absolutely breathtaking. They take up the entire wall behind the altar, and let in rays of sunlight that give the entire room the perfect atmosphere. The large windows on the sides make it seem almost as if the chapel is outside, far from the clutter and stuffiness of a typical church. There is plenty of seating, and both of our families fit in the available pews with ease. All in all, Ashton Garden's was the perfect venue for our wedding. I could not have imagined a more hospitable staff, or a more beautiful venue. I would gladly recommend it to anyone searching for a wedding venue in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Ashton Gardens - An Eventective User from Denton Texas

Ashton Gardens is located in Corinth Texas, which is near the college town of Denton. However, it has two other locations in Houston and Atlanta. It is a very beautiful place to get married. The chapel is on a very lovely bit of land full of trees and flowers that are well maintained. There are also a lot of windows in the chapel so that you can enjoy natural sunlight as well as the beauty of nature. There is also a reception hall on site and the catering is all done there as well. The chef there is excellent and has even been a contestant on Hell's Kitchen! I was able to design a comprehensive menu that included gourmet coffees, wines, h'ordeuvres and a buffet. The entertainment provided was excellent, he kept everyone entertained and having a good time. They even provided us with a photo booth for our guests to take pictures in! Of course, we got a copy of the pictures as well. The only real complaints that we had is that the sun was shining in the guests eyes during the wedding ceremony because the entire front portion of the chapel is windows and the reception hall was a bit too cold. However, after everyone had a few glasses of wine and started dancing, the temperature didn't bother anyone! Of course, when it comes to price, I have to say that weddings always tend to be expensive, but I think, you get what you pay for. I think that while I may have paid a bit more than other people would have, I definitely had a better experience. I think that the extra money that I spent was worth it and it was obvious that it was worth it. The convenience of not having to set anything up myself as well as having everything there on one site and with one company out weighs saving a hundred dollars or so, in my opinion. All in all, a very great place to start the rest of your life!
