Everything about the Parish House was absolutely top notch. Patty and Lee are wonderful hosts. Patty is second to none as a wedding planner and coordinator. The facility is absolutely beautiful. Wonderful restorations and remodeling and they started only a year ago! Also, Patty and Lee's catering and wedding cake connections are amazing! We've never had better food at a wedding. And the cake and macarons...oh my! We were made to feel so welcome and special from the very start. Professional, personal and friendly. And the value! Wow! We were absolutely blown away by all that was included. I was so happy for my daughter and son-in-law to have found Patty and Lee at the Parish House.
We couldn't have wished for a more perfect venue for our classic military wedding. Patty worked tirelessly to create a beautiful winter wedding. This is indeed an all inclusive venue providing all the amenities needed from a beautiful chapel, wonderful recommended vendors, while anticipating what we would need before we realized it! The Parish House is wholeheartedly recommended to all! We were able to relax knowing that Patty will make your day special by managing the details and bringing to life our vision while keeping our guests as safe as possible. Kudos on an amazing ceremony and reception!
I started planning my wedding at the end of May and wanted to get married in August so you can imagine how intensely hectic it all was. I was so happy when I stumbled across the Parish House's website because (based on the photos) it had everything I wanted in a venue. Upon a first visit, my then fiance and I were in love with the place. The stained glass, the wood floors, the high ceilings, the white chairs, it was everything we wanted. The owner, Patty was beyond helpful and truly took the stress away from the wedding planning. It felt like I was barely doing anything (which was fine by me!). Even in the midst of COVID restrictions being throw our way, she was able to make our wedding day wonderful. I highly suggest The Parish House if looking for a wedding venue, you won't be disappointed.
Planning a wedding in an entirely different state than where you're currently located is not an easy feet. Having moved to Texas in May with my then fiance, now husband, I knew that planning a wedding in Indiana was going to be difficult. However, I was determined to have my special day be in my home state, and be filled with as much Midwest charm as possible. Patty, was first and foremost, a visionary when it came to bringing my ideas to life. I was all about having all the fall colors in my wedding: burnt oranges, yellows. burgundys, and greens. Patty would quickly come up with ideas that fit the aesthetic I was going for and was never short of ideas either. Not only was the style for my wedding perfectly executed, the food, from The Angry Donkey, was absolutely delicious. I was able to have a very refined dish, that wasn't typical of your traditional wedding day dinner, a delicious ravioli. That they even named after me! A huge surprise to receive after the wedding and I felt very honored to be included in The Parish House's history! The day went on without a hitch. My entire family and my husband's family that attended and the wedding party were floored by the event. It was a small wedding (due to COVID, of course) but 50 people still felt like so many thanks to the carefully constructed tables and decor. All in all I could not have been happier with how everything turned out. Me and my husband are SO pleased with how the day went and could not have asked for a better wedding, even in these uncertain times. You will NOT be disappointed if you book The Parish House. You will be taken care of you and your dream wedding will come to life!
