About The Vineyards at Dodon

The Vineyards at Dodon is in Davidsonville, Maryland, 28 miles from Capitol Hill, 16 miles from Annapolis, and 38 miles from Baltimore. Located on a 555-acre farm, the bespoke pine building is surrounded by a 17-acre vineyard, pollinator meadows, pasture, and forest. The Vineyards at Dodon hosts guests, as well as business, corporations and organizations, for intimate events and gatherings, including birthday parties, retirement celebrations, corporate retreats, client & team appreciation events, and rehearsal dinners. In addition to the winery, the space includes an indoor tasting/board room for 40 guests and the more intimate “Collectors Room” for 14 guests. This glass-enclosed space provides a beautiful view and plenty of natural sunlight. A garden of native wildflowers surrounds the building and its attached deck area. A freestanding pavilion is available for seated gatherings of up to 100 guests, and standing receptions of 120 guests (weather permitting).

The Vineyards at Dodon offers two different Tour & Tasting experiences. Each Tour & Tasting is led by a knowledgeable member of the Dodon team and lasts about 90 minutes. Any additional time on-site is $10 per guest per hour for Monday-Thursdays, and $20 per guest per hour for Fridays-Sundays. Collectors Tour & Tasting ($80/guest) The visit begins with an aperitif while discussing Dodon's history, farming, and winemaking philosophy. Next, guests tour the vineyard, cellar, and barrel room. They finish with a seated tasting of the current releases of Dodon's limited edition Collectors wines, Drum Point, Dungannon, and Oronoco, accompanied by a curated pairing of local and carefully sourced cheese and charcuterie. The tasting ends with a taste of Dodon’s fortified wine, Salute the Truth. Introductory Tour & Tasting ($45/guest) The Introductory Tour & Tasting begins with a description of the property, while enjoying a welcome pour of Dodon's Rosé. We then proceed to the East Vineyard, explaining how we blend classical farming practices with modern technology to create a diverse yet balanced ecosystem. Following a cellar and barrel room tour, the visit ends with a seated tasting of Dodon Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Stocketts Run, and South Slope and a discussion of the nuances of Dodon's terroir.

Dodon's Hilltop Pergola area is a casual, yet picturesque event option with 180 degree views of the vineyards and amble shade. One pergola includes two six-foot tables that comfortably host groups of 10 guests for two and a half hour visits. Guests can enjoy wines by the glass, flight or bottle along with Dodon’s a la carte snacks & shareables menu, to be acquired from the Pavilion bar. The Pergolas are available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays when weather permits. When available, two pergolas can be reserved for groups up to 20 guests. All guest counts include children. Members of the Dodon Wine Club receive preferred pricing when booking with using the email attached to associated with your membership. Dodon's cozy Collectors Tasting Room offers amazing views of the southern and western vineyards, and native flower gardens. The attached deck and lawn can provide more seating, weather permitting. It can accommodate up to 14 guests for board meetings, 16 for seated dinners, and 20 for standing receptions with the attached deck and lawn providing spill over during warmer months. The room is ideal for leadership meetings, intimate gatherings and celebrations.

Dodon’s outdoor spaces provide a more spacious and casual setting. A 30ft x 40ft covered Pavilion can be used in conjunction with adjoining lawn and hillside, over-looking the vineyards. This area comfortably hosts seated picnic lunch parties and sunset dinner for 100 guests, and up to 120 guests for standing receptions. This area is weather permitting with no weather contingency.
