‘Enjoy with Troy’
Troy Harris has entertained the Quad Cities since 1985. His musical talent has allowed him to be pianist for the Bass Street Chop House, Moline, Illinois, Red Crow Grille and the Lodge Restaurant and Hotels, Bettendorf, Iowa, as well as Von Maur, President Casinos, Rhythm City Casino, and E L Entertainment. Troy has entertained from Okoboji to Des Moines to the Quad Cities and western Illinois. He has played for many venues including lounges, fine dining restaurants, private and corporate parties, weddings, churches, and outdoor events and the Governor of Iowa. His repertoire includes standards, pop, jazz, rock, show tunes, light classical, waltzes, TV themes and holiday music. Whether it’s Sinatra or The Beatles, Broadway or Beethoven, Troy draws from a repertoire of over 500 songs which he plays by memory.
Troy has been featured by Quad City Times Columnists Bill Wundrum and David Burke as well as the Moline Dispatch, Argus and Leader Newspapers and Channel 6 News for his entertainment and musical fundraising. Troy is a member of the Quad City Regional Musician’s Association and received his degree in music from Coe College, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. While at Coe he had the distinct honor of being a back up singer for Barry Manilow during his Cedar Rapids concert tour. Troy has composed, arranged and copyrighted music in a variety of styles and instrumentations. He was featured by the Quad City Times in 2005 for his song ‘Davenport – That Jazzy Town’. Troy has a resourceful collection of over 3600 pieces of sheet music to draw from.
