For Weddings with Cocktail Buffet Receptions, our pricing is $130.00 per person, which includes Open Premium Bar Service, a one hour cocktail party with passed hors d'oeuvres, and a buffet for the balance of the 4 hour event. This pricing includes chairs for ceremony and reception, chafing dishes, tables, linens, china, glassware and silverware. Only 50% seating is provided for this type of reception, as, by definition, a cocktail buffet is an affair where guests mingle and dance and do not require seating for long periods.
For Weddings and Seated Buffet Receptions, our pricing is $150.00 per person, which includes Open Premium Bar Service, a one hour cocktail party with passed hors d'oeurvres, and a seated buffet dinner. 100% seating is provided for this type of reception and tables are preset with linens, silverware and glassware for tea and wine service.
For Weddings and Full Service Dinner Receptions, our pricing is $160.00 per person, which includes Open Premium Bar Service, a one hour cocktail party with passed hors d'oeurvres, and a fully serviced seated dinner. The tables are preset with linens, silverware and glassware for tea, wine and champagne. All guests are personally served a salad, appetizer, main entree and wedding cake.
There is a required minimum of 75 guests for use of the Neptune Pavilion and a minimum of 150 guests for the Pavilion. Additionally, we offer the use of private dining rooms in our Latil's Landing Restaurant for intimate wedding dinners. The Library of Latil's Landing will seat up to 26 guests, while additional Dining Rooms will accommodate up to 22 guests each.
A minimum of $1000 is required for any type of wedding held at Houmas House. Pricing includes Tax and Gratuity
Houmas House offers a splendid variety of hors d'oeuvres and menu items for Wedding Buffets and Dinners. We do not provide Wedding Cake, Photography, Officiate, Entertainment or Flowers. We do, however, work with many approved suppliers who excel in providing these services, a list of which we are happy to provide.
Terms and Conditions
When booking an event, there is a deposit of $20 per person. There is another deposit two months prior to the event, and the balance is due two weeks prior to the event.
