We used the Tower Club for a combination wedding and reception (with 75 guests) in July 2011. The Tower Club is located on the 48th floor of the Thanksgiving Building, which is relatively easy to find in the downtown Dallas area. Because this was a weekend event, parking in the garage was free , not having to pay to park offsite and walk was nice! Bride/bridesmaids and groom/groomsmen had nice staging rooms to prepare, while early guests had a comfortable seating area to wait before it was time to be escorted to the room for the wedding ceremony. The room used for the wedding ceremony was a side room that was long and narrow , which just meant that the parade had to come in and turn a corner before continuing down the aisle , a bit awkward but definitely not a deal-breaker. This room had a gorgeous view of downtown Dallas from high up. One nice thing about the Tower Club is that there were so many different combinations of rooms available, so as the wedding ceremony was taking place, the reception room was being set up. This meant absolutely no wait time for guests , they were able to leave the wedding, walk around the corner to the reception, and begin enjoying drinks and snacks while waiting for the bride and groom. A hot buffet was served , food was well done by the catering staff and consisted of standard fare (pasta, chicken, salads, etc.). Meanwhile, the wedding party had another wonderful room set up for pictures, again showing off the gorgeous skyline view of Dallas. Probably the nicest part of the experience was the room for the reception. It was a corner room, so in the late afternoon the view of Dallas was great, but then the Sun set and as the city lit up, the view become amazing (and so, so romantic). There was a good-sized dance floor, and the tables were set up to allow plenty of room for wandering and mingling without feeling like a traffic jam. Bottom line , gorgeous view, helpful staff, nice food, and guests enjoyed having the entire experience under one roof. Definitely recommended!
