My rate includes taking the action photography, editing, and putting them on a web gallery that is downloadable with a password. My rates for parties (action pictures and posed without a studio background and lighting): My rate depends on how many hours or days you need me and what I am taking pictures of and how much gear I need. Personal events with only a small group of people that are close to my area: I charge about $125 per hour. For larger parties: $150 per hour for 2 hours minimum and possibly a lower rate for longer events. Sometimes, for big corporate events, I charge $175 per hour which includes editing and download gallery and possibly a thumb drive of photos. My rates for weddings vary depending on length and includes the wedding photography, a travel drive or disc of high resolution pictures of the entire wedding as well as a web-gallery and a top shots slide show set to music. For larger events, especially corporate, I charge $150-175 per hour when it is all within the same day or half-day (with a two-hour minimum required). When companies need me for several days, I charge less per hour for action photography.
