My husband and I were married 20 years ago and spent our Honeymoon here. The Hotel is absolutely beautiful. The view is amazing. The pool had a dome ceiling that opened and you could see the moon and stars and the hot tub was so relaxing. The restaurant slowly rotated so you had a constant but slow changing view of such a beautiful view all the way around. We went back for our 20 year anniversary and it was as beautiful as we remembered and so nice and clean. The staff was so friendly and helpful and they gave us complimentary desert for our special day. The restaurant was under new management and it was the most amazing meal I have ever had! Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. The staff was polite and professional and the dishes were presented so beautifully it felt like Chef Ramsey and the Top Chef staff could have been in the kitchen. I actually took a picture of our deserts and I have never taken a picture of my food in my life! LOL Our beds had the sleep number settings on both sides. (This irritated my husband when I kept raising him up in the air and letting him back down repeatedly XD) We walked around the area in the evening and they had a strip nearby that reminded me of New Orleans with the old style close Historical buildings and most of them were shops, sports bars, quaint coffee shop type of places with someone singing and playing guitar, and a fountain in the middle of it all that made me want to take my shoes off, jump in and sing the Friends theme. ^.^ The entire place is magical. It is close to the zoo, the Reds Stadium, a Mall that has all kinds of stuff to do including climbing inside a human sized gerbil ball that you stand in on top of water and play bumper cars with others in their own ball and a tour in a giant duck vehicle that goes on land around the riverside and turns into a boat and goes into the water too. There is a huge bridge you can walk out on with Kentucky on one side and Ohio on the other. You can stand on the state line and be in two places at once! It's also very close to the Newport Aquarium. This place has so much to do and so much to see and the most amazing food and atmosphere I have ever seen. You really can't go wrong with this place for any event! I can't wait to go back!
