SIBLING HARMONY BIOGRAPHY About the Artists Sean & Pete O'Donovan of Sibling Harmony are proud to be residing in Courtenay BC. As brothers, they bring a unique blend of harmonies with the music they share with everyone, involving rock, blues, country and punk influences. Conveying a different level of camaraderie, creating a great connection with the crowd and it shows through their music, leaving you singing the songs they’ve shared with great lasting memories. Background Brothers Born on the BC mainland and raised in the Alberni Valley on Vancouver Island, learning to play instruments in their teens, both moving away to pursue different genres of music, Sean moved to Alberta and pursued country rockabilly whereas Pete was more of a rocker, years later in 2019 combining their talents and skills to form Sibling Harmony! Soon to be in the studio recording our own original blend of music! Discography Pete’s talent actually started with his love for the drums, which he pursued for over 30 years as the drummer for a local band called Remedy, being an intrinsic member of the band, rocking around the island from Courtenay to Port Alberni to Fanny Bay, festivals and much more. Throughout the years drumming, Pete learned guitar and was able to bring himself to the pro-level forming Sibling Harmony with Sean, using professional backing tracks as a duo act. Sean’s talent started early with his love for singing then followed by learning rhythm guitar, which was a turning point as he was able to perform guitar accompanying his rich vocals. Performing only small venues and jams for the first 5 or so years before moving to Alberta and joining the act The Usual Suspects, they went on the road travelling southern Alberta to northern BC, after 6 years with the Usual Suspects, the lead guitar player became gravely ill and the band was no more. Moving on he tried for Rising Star hosted by Ranchmans in Calgary, taking place in the semifinals which was a huge highlight! With his own brand of music performing in the Alberta area on tour at various venues throughout the years. Alberta’s economic issues motivated Sean to return to his home province and meet up with his brother to form Sibling Harmony. Music & Aspirations We hope to portrait the same music that you’ve listened to for many years as we choose cover songs to suit most genres, offering a bottomless barrel of ear candy, ranging from 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, 2000’s, country, rock, blues and top 40, old and new! Almost inseparable vocal harmonies generated by the 2 brothers, has motivated them to create their own album in the near future, sharing their own music with the world!
