Performance & Billing
The Disc Jockey agrees to play recorded materials between the hours stated above. If the Disc Jockey is requested and/or forced to extend the time limit of his performance, a higher fee WILL be added, which is [OVERTIME] per 1/2 hour, payable before the extended time begins.
Payment Terms:
Client shall pay the Disc Jockey the amount of [TOTAL], outlined as "Disc Jockey's Fee" in exchange for said number of hours of service.
-A deposit in the amount of [DEPOSIT], outlined as "Deposit" must be paid to secure the date of the event. *(The deposit is only refunded if disc jockey cancels.)
-The remaining balance may be paid, in cash immediately upon Disc Jockey's arrival at the event and before the Disc Jockey performs. If remaining balance payment is made by check or credit card, it must be made 7days prior to event date.
-$50 returned check fee for checks not cleared by bank.
All checks are made payable to Michael Hobbs.
Gratuity
- Gratuity for DJ and staff is not included in package price.
- Gratuity is not required but greatly appreciated.
Deposits and Confirmation:
- Disc Jockey is not confirmed for the event until this signed agreement and the outlined deposit has been received.
-All deposits are non-refundable, unless agreed upon by Disc Jockey.
Cancellations:
A cancellation will not be accepted within thirty (30) days prior to the date of the event. If the event is cancelled within this window of time the client is responsible to pay the disc Jockey the balance due. Once the Disc Jockey arrives at the venue, and is paid the remaining balance due, then by the terms agreed upon in this contract, the Disc jockey will perform services at the event. Disc Jockey will not be held responsible for the inability to perform for the following reasons:
- Police or Government Official closing down location of event
- Facility improperly equipped (ie: no electricity, unsafe working conditions)
- Fire, War, or Act of God
*If the Disc Jockey must cancel for any other reason than those mentioned above, then the Disc Jockey shall only be liable to refund 50% of the deposit.
Substitutions:
- If for some reason the Disc Jockey cannot make your event. We have the right to use another partner DJ to handle the event.
Travel & Accommodations:
If the event is located over 75 miles from DJ, the Client shall provide and pay for the Disc Jockey's mileage at a rate of $.50 per mile. Client shall also provide Disc Jockey with a pre-paid hotel, for the duration of the Disc Jockey's stay. Confirmation of reservation and prepayment must be faxed or emailed to the Disc Jockey.

The event site shall provide the Disc Jockey with the following equipment in good working order:
- Two 120 volt /20 amp receptacles located on two separate circuits.
- A banquet table and two chairs
