About The Sanctuary at The Universal Education Foundation
The Universal Education Foundation calls a historical building its forever home. The beauty The Sanctuary holds is stunning and tells a story. It can become a part of YOUR story when you rent our space for your next event.
Built in 1886, it was the first Lutheran Church in Colorado Springs and its architect was the Colorado Springs Mayor at that time. The space boasts 22 ft ceilings (original architecture and wood) with original stained glass windows, and an in-door plant garden. It has the capacity to host over 150 people on the main floor alone. The main floor also has the restrooms, a coffee room and a state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment with surround sound and screen/projector.
The basement floor has a sitting area with a fireplace and a spacious kitchen with a new refrigerator, two new gas ovens, two microwaves, coffee maker and tea kettle.
