This is truly one of the most unique, artistic, and interesting atmospheres to have any event in the Bryan/College Station area. The Benjamin Knox Gallery and Art Center has two event spaces, the larger College Station train depot and the smaller Bluebonnet Gallery. They can be rented independently or combined. The setting is the site of the historic College Station train depot (the namesake of the city of College Station) complete with historical artifacts and a 1905 caboose from the Industrial Age. The continually changing art exhibits on display are by world-renowned artist Benjamin Knox and add to the ambiance. His inspiring artwork is both regional and from his world travels, and each magnificent piece is available for purchase. Also on premises is The Wine Bar, providing you with a multitude of wines to choose from (inexpensive to sophisticated) and choice beers for your event. There is also a caterer’s kitchen with a separate, unassuming entrance to the back alley. Large exterior decks and a private courtyard are also available. The location could not be better and easier to get to. It is centrally located right next to the Texas A&M University campus on University Drive, in the heart of all of the main hotels with plenty of parking.
