My husband and I recently had our wedding at Merion Caterers a few months ago. From start to finish, having our wedding there was an outstanding experience and I would recommend Merion caterers to anyone. Beware: Merion Caterers is a little bit expensive, but the wonderful amenities and service are well worth the price. The Merion gives you one of the members of their staff to be your party planner. This person helps you through the whole process. We were having a wedding with about 200 guests, so we requested their sky room. All I can say is "WOW". It was truly beautiful. Although I was not really at cocktail hour, I heard from my guests it was great. There was a large variety of food including buttered hors d'oerves, different stations, and an open bar. Everyone raved about how awesome the cocktail hour was. The night went on without a flaw. They did everything just liked my husband and I asked. Everyone got seated at the correct tables, there were enough tables, they announced our names correctly, etc. The dinner was very good. Traditionally, wedding food is cold and not too good. This food was delicious. I think the best part of their menu would have to be the desserts though. The cake was fabulous and the dessert room was out of control. It was beyond my expectations and so delicious. The Merion is the place to go if you want a wedding day to remember.
