The front entrance to the home, with its wide steps and majestic pillars, is a popular setting for weddings. The restored interior with caterers’ kitchen can be rented for dinners, business meetings with breakout rooms and media center, indoor weddings complete with dressing rooms, and other events limited only by your imagination. This space is great for gatherings of all types and is especially fit for business meetings and corporate retreats.

Between 1947 and 1967, Mountain Cove was the site every Labor Day weekend of the annual Southeastern Rodeo. The large barn was a focal point of the working farm, also providing a popular place to have stock shows where, among other stock, the famous prize-winning Hereford cattle and Duroc hogs owned by the Dubois and Bible families of Mountain Cove Farms competed for blue ribbons. The “Show Barn” has been beautifully restored into a glittering, upscale rustic event venue for wedding receptions, anniversary parties, and other events accommodating up to 300 people.
