Our main dining room can accommodate semi-private cocktail receptions for 15-120 guests, and parties of 150-300 can qualify for a half or full-restaurant buy-out. Seated dinners for up to 150 guests are available on weekends only. The dining room's flexible floor space allows for your ideal arrangement, and it offers a seamless transition between the bar & dining area, an elegant full-service 50 foot main bar, and large floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the river.

From outdoor ceremonies by the Chicago River, to indoor seated dinners and private cocktail receptions, South Branch is one of the most beautiful and unique wedding venues in downtown Chicago. We host both small weddings and large, as we can hold up to 150 guests for seated dinners, and up to 300 guests for cocktail reception-style events with a variety of indoor/outdoor ceremony and dinner event setups. The Pavilion patio and bar is an oasis in the heart of the city. Semi-private cocktail receptions can be held for up to 125 guests beneath the spectacular Chicago skyline. For groups of 20 or more, we accept limited reservations within the hours of 1:30pm and 4:30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Please note that patio reservations do not guarantee inside space in the event of inclement weather.

Private but not secluded, our private dining room can accommodate 22 guests seated, or up to 25 guests for a standing, cocktail reception style event. The sophisticated room features a display of our beautiful wine room, two large mahogany boardroom tables, floor-to-ceiling glass doors, flexible seating, and dedicated control of a 60" flat screen TV equipped with a/v capabilities. Dinner and happy hour reservations are accepted from 1:30 to 7:30pm.
