The first mistake I made was to hire my future sisten-in-law to handle all of the floral arrangements for my wedding. Just like Murphy's Law: whatever can go wrong, will. Two days before my wedding she broke her leg and couldn't get the flowers together, and I was in a TOTAL panic. I pretty much got laughed off the phone when I called other florists in the area to see if they could handle this fairly good-sized last-minute request. I tried Marcel, and I felt like a guardian angel had been sent my way. Thankfully I had a detailed list of all of the things I need, and it was very specific, even down to the ribbon colors I wanted to use. They were able to accommodate almost every single item with the exception of one kind of lily for the table centerpieces. I was absolutely amazed by their ability to scramble and put a total of 60 items together in 2 days! Talk about pressure under fire! They got on it immediately. They didn't complain about the short notice and actually seemed to enjoy the challenge. The flowers were very fresh, vibrant and beautifully presented. I was so relieved and so happy. They did charge me a bit of a premium but it was my fault and so I just absorbed the extra cost and bit the bullet. I can't recommend them highly enough for their professional attitude, on-time delivery and really beautiful blooms. Excellent job ... they really saved the day!
Marcel Florist is one of the florists in the last ten years that I have had experience with. My family and I used them for the passing of my grandfather and grandmothers best friend who passed away. Since I had just got my license I was responsible for going and picking up the flowers on my way from work. The ladies that I met with to get the flowers where extremely nice and they flirted with me a bit and gave me some extra flowers because my family had done some business with them in the past. The customer service was great and we got a very large amount of flowers for what we ended up paying. Another great feature about their products and services was the fact that the still deliver to a vast range of neighborhoods. We also send flowers to the immediate family of our past friend. After the funeral we had so many left over that we kept a lot and gave away a lot more flowers as well. The people were so impressed with the quality and the amount of flowers that we had that they began to ask who we went through to get the flowers. I'm sure that some of those people have used their services since then. I highly recommend the marcel florist because they are good people with good products, and great prices.
