The Thomas Cole Site is the home and studio of the artist and early environmentalist Thomas Cole (1801-1848). Located in New York’s Hudson Valley at the foot of the Catskill Mountains, the Historic site’s gardens and grounds feature beautiful mountain views. The site is located in the Village of Catskill, New York. It is a ten-minute taxi ride from the Hudson Amtrak Station and ten-minute walk to Catskill’s bars and restaurants on Main Street.
