The Kaaterskill’s lush grounds and spectacular views make the ideal backdrop for a wedding you and your guests will never forget. With sweeping views of the Catskill Mountains and Over 40 acres of breathtaking scenery, the Kaaterskill is a retreat like no other. This magnificent property boasts the best of what the Catskills has to offer: spectacular mountain vistas, acres of wooded and pastoral land, beautiful footpaths that wind along lazy rivers, and age-old trees.
Our 76’ x 25’ Red Barn seats up to 150 guests for dinner, while larger weddings dine under tents on our beautiful lawn and save the barn for dancing and dessert. Numerous picturesque ceremony sites, ranging from a garden complete with waterfall and arbor to a fairytale-like circle of trees, offer couples the opportunity to design a one-of-a-kind wedding day. Our quaint Pond House is the perfect spot for the cocktail hour or an after party. The main building is a magnificent restored Dutch Barn Inn. Modern luxuries abound, from jacuzzi bathtubs and spacious quarters to in-suite fireplaces and private patios.
The Kaaterskill offers endless possibilities, so there’s no need to rent additional sites for your rehearsal dinner, after-party, or wedding brunch. Enjoy bonfires, outdoor movies, nature walks, an afternoon picnic with lawn games, a billiards night or use your imagination to come up with a plan to utilize the property in a way we haven’t thought of yet!
