Tiffer "the Riffer" Folk and Zoid Asteroid Machine have merged their solo acts together to create the energetic, entertaining, and rockin' new duo called Tiff 'n' Zoid. Tiff 'n' Zoid can get you up and dancing and singing along with well-known classic rock songs from the 60's, 70's, and 80's. They're also known to throw in some of their own original tunes throughout their shows, too! Tiffer Folk has performed alongside many musicians, and is the frontman for the New Jersey band "Tiffer the Riffer & the Cross-Eyed Bears". In October, she was the opening act for the 2010 Pensacola Beach Songwriter's Festival at Landshark Landing at the Margaritaville Beach Hotel. Tiffer has performed in various venues from New Jersey to the Bahamas and everywhere in between including: The Ocean County Mall in Toms River, NJ; Fisherman's Village in Punta Gorda, FL; The Dockside Bar and Grill in Marathon, FL; Paradise Island Harbour Resort in Nassau, Bahamas; The Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau, Bahamas, and on the Celebrity Cruise ship, "Century". She has been a singer/songwriter and musician for eight years, and in that time span has produced seven CDs containing nothing but her original music. Zoid Asteroid Machine is probably best known for being the lead guitarist for the 70's hard rock band, Yancy Derringer, and the rock 'n' roll 80's band THE…VERS. There's this unbelievable story about him being an alien from another planet, and that he's over 500 years old. But what he really is, is one hell of a guitar player, singer, songwriter, and MIDI sequence writer who puts it all together like nobody else! He's on numerous records and CD's as a recording artist, and he's played various venues such as the Five Flags Civic Center in Dubuque, Iowa; Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Park West in Chicago; Headliner's in Madison, Wisconsin; the UW Stock Pavilion in Madison, Wisconsin; the Madison, WI, Civic Center; and Key West Willie's on the Gulf Coast of Florida. His bands have shared billing with U2, Loverboy, Ted Nugent, Cheap Trick, Head East, REO Speedwagon, The Ramones, The Romantics, The Stranglers, Split Enz, Wall of Voodoo, The Greg Kihn Band, The Grass Roots, Leslie West, Adrian Belew, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, Billy Squire, Dave Dudley, and many others.
